He provided the initial responses from a variety of influential athletes and others; then Travis provided the truth that only came out after a police investigation.
The major false influencer (which is typical in the news media) is that no one followed up their false stories with the truth once it had been revealed.
Therefore, all those twitter followers, CNN watchers…never heard the real story, only the false story that was founded on lies, half-truths, deliberate propaganda… by influential media sources.
