More than 60 Republican House representatives led by Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) and one senator objected to Arizona’s 11 electoral votes during the Joint Session of Congress on Wednesday. Their objection “complies with the law,” said Vice President Mike Pence, the president of the Senate during the Joint Session of Congress. …Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) stood on the floor as the GOP senator who objected to Arizona’s votes. Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) said he would join in Arizona’s electoral objection. Marshall also said he’ll object to the electoral votes in Georgia and Pennsylvania, according to CNN. “That’s absolutely correct,” he told the network about objecting to those three states.
As Georgia election officials on Tuesday night announced a pause in vote counts in Chatham County, President Donald Trump stated that a big “voter dump” was being set up against GOP candidates Sens. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) and David Perdue in the Senate runoffs. …“Looks like they are setting up a big ‘voter dump’ against the Republican candidates. Waiting to see how many votes they need?” Trump responded to the news in a Twitter post. In another tweet, he said: “Just happened to have found another 4000 ballots from Fulton County. Here we go!” …“Why are they stopping the vote count in Democrat Chatham county, Georgia? This sounds familiar!” added White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Pa.), the first senator to announce a challenge, signed on to object to the electoral votes in Pennsylvania, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said he’s objecting to votes in Arizona, and Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) is objecting to votes in Georgia, according to the Alabama republican. “LOTS of Congressmen object to AZ GA MI NV PA WI electoral college votes. In Senate, Hawley=PA Cruz=AZ Loeffler=GA, so battle engaged there. STILL NEED SENATORS FOR MI NV WI!” Brooks wrote on Twitter. “America—urge your senators to fight voter fraud & election theft!” …Hawley revealed that Antifa activists protested outside his home in Washington, demanding that he drop the electoral challenge, as his wife and newborn were in the house. “Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel,” he wrote, adding that they “screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door.”
Forget the Krakens, Dominion voting machines, harvested, absentee, and mail-in ballots, early voting, and all the other squid ink that’s been expelled into the atmosphere since the highly contested presidential election of Nov. 3, 2020. The only thing that matters this week—indeed, the only thing that has ever mattered—is whether the 50 separate state elections for president of the United States were conducted in accordance with the Constitution and other applicable federal customs and statutes. That’s the point that Sens. Ted Cruz, Ron Johnson, and others are making in their last-ditch effort to at least raise the issue. Chinese leader Xi Jinping has commanded the regime’s military to focus on “preparing for war,” as Beijing looks to make a splash in 2021—the year marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In the first order of the year, Xi instructed the forces to ratchet up military training. As chairman of the regime’s Central Military Commission (CMC), Xi is head of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), the CCP’s armed forces.
…In 2020, Beijing’s stated defense budget was $178 billion, roughly a quarter of U.S. defense spending that year, although experts estimate that the amount was much higher. According to a March 2020 report, the CCP’s military spending is 87 percent that of the United States’ defense budget.
Over 1,000 people injected with a new COVID-19 vaccine have experienced an adverse event, with hundreds being taken to emergency rooms. …In one report, a 33-year-old male in Georgia reported receiving Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine on Dec. 17, 2020. “I initially had to sit down for about 15 min and felt my mouth dry, my tongue was kind of tingling, not swollen. I was checked for anaphylactic shock. I felt like an adrenaline shock, and felt my heart racing, my [blood pressure] was high—stayed in the ER for an hour for observation. I felt the same kind of sensation when I had COVID in July. This morning, had chills early in the morning around 1 a.m. but it is all gone now,” he wrote.
The certificates and papers will be opened, presented, and acted upon in alphabetical order, starting with Alabama. This is when dozens of Republicans—at least 50 representatives and 12 senators, according to an Epoch Times tally—are planning to object to some certificates, alleging election irregularities including voter fraud and failure to follow state election laws. …That will trigger a withdrawal from the joint session and a two-hour debate followed by votes in each chamber. Only with a majority vote from both the House and the Senate would a challenge be upheld, which even supporters find unlikely, considering that Democrats, who control the House, and Senate Republican leadership, including McConnell, have expressed disapproval of the plan to object.
Rep. Richard Neal (D-Mass.), U.S. House Ways and Means Committee chairman, said Sunday that the results of the runoff election in Georgia would influence the $2,000 stimulus checks that President Donald Trump and other officials have proposed. …In a press conference on Monday, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), the House Democratic Caucus chair, said that he thinks the $2,000 stimulus checks represent “unfinished business” for the next administration.
“We are still fighting it, and you’re going to see what will happen,” Trump told supporters in Dalton, Georgia. “I had two elections,” he added. “I won both of them. It’s amazing. I did much better on the second one.” …“Nothing and no one will be able to stop them,” Trump said of Democrats if Republicans lose the Senate. “The Senate seats are the last line of defense. I must preface, because they will say, ‘He just conceded,’” Trump said, referring to his own election. …Trump warned that should the Democrats take the majority, they will attempt to exert power over Americans’ livelihoods in an unprecedented manner.
