As 2 Corinthians 10, Ephesians 6 and many other places in the Bible make clear, the Christian’s weapons are not worldly. Our weapons are the righteousness of justification, faith, prayer, abiding in His word for direction and enablement, fellowship with Him and His children…which enable us to endure the hard knocks we are promised to receive from the world.  Also, I have been freshly reminded that spiritual warfare is happening all around us 24-7-365; and we need God’s grace and Spirit to endure. …God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

The woman who died after being shot inside the Capitol building amid acts of violence that occurred during a demonstration over concerns about the way the 2020 election has been handled, has been identified, according to multiple reports. Family members have identified the woman shot and killed on Capitol grounds on Jan. 6 as Ashli Babbitt, an Air Force vet from California and Trump supporter. Video footage captured the moment she was struck in the chest and fell to the floor. …It is not yet clear who was behind the shooting, however, law enforcement sources told the New York Post that she was shot by Capitol Police.

Only a few arrests were reported and scuffles broke out in states like Ohio and California.
