This video shows the source of ‘alternative spirituality’ propagated by many in this culture. Those who, for example, believe that there are many ways to God, heaven…. There are not. All you have to do is read through the Bible to know that for sure.
He opens by briefly critiquing the movie Barbie, then went into a discussion of the spirituality of the three pop stars in the title.
In the process, he showed clips of their denigration of Christianity and the Bible; and briefs on their personal spirituality.
I’m posting the video because in general it critiques the fatal error of focusing on experience instead of doctrine in worship; that is practiced by many who call themselves Christian: Pentecostals; mystics; Hinduism, via meditation, seeking a personal encounter, the higher self….
Chad identifies numerous types of ‘spiritual but not religious’ movements, and clearly identifies the source of such worship; he identified Alice Bailey and Helena Blavatsky.
Although many Christians who worship via experience, feelings… would identify Satanism or witchcraft as occult and wrong, they do not see their own errors: seeking revelations not in the Bible, fresh revelation; relying on experiences instead of trusting in God’s words, promises (doctrines from the Bible)….
This is a very basic error, that takes one off the ‘old path’ of Biblical Christianity. The church at large today is on an alternative path. This video may help you identify the path on which you are walking as you worship the God who revealed Himself in the Bible.
