The alderman said: “I’ve got gangbangers with AK-47s walking around waiting to settle a score. What are we going to do?”
Mayor Lightfoot: “Thank you alderman, next question.”
Alderman: “No, I want an answer. You commented on everyone else…”
Mayor Lightfoot: “…I think you’re 100% full of s*** is what I think.”
I saw a news clip last night of mayor Lightfoot saying there should be an outcry over the 3 year old boy who was fatally shot when a shooter tried to kill the boys father as he was driving his vehicle.
Based upon how she responded in private to her aldermen in the above video, her statements about the 3 y/o were mere rhetoric, they cannot fix the problem.
Her leadership has set up the communities in that city to be victims of much violence.
