Biden’s Call Upon Congress To Restrict Gun Ownership Is Wrongheaded, Erroneous

In the following linked, Epoch Times article, from 2-12-21, Biden called upon Congress to limit gun ownership and cited the Parkland School shootings as the basis of his rationale:

I am posting this because I covered that topic a year ago in a post about the father of one of the students that was killed in the Parkland school shooting, Andrew Pollack.

Mr. Pollack, after a long investigation, began holding national speaking engagements on the matter, his findings indicated that the shootings resulted from lenient disciplinary procedures from the Chicago school district that were exported to Florida by the Obama administration.

These school disciplinary strategies were very lenient, such that aggressive behaviors by students were not dealt with. The shooter, who was a student at Parkland, had been seen by the local sheriff’s department 45 times and had not been disciplined by the school.

Mr. Pollack concluded that democrats were only using the incident to support their opposition to gun rights; that gun violence was not the cause; but their ineffective policies were the cause of the deaths of those students.

My post uses 4 short videos to show the aforementioned.

In conclusion, I think that the democrats lost a lot of support for abolition of the 2nd amendment during the past summer’s burnings and violence; I have heard it reported that many who formerly opposed 2A now own guns, as they saw that it is quite possible that when such violence comes to their own neighborhoods, they will have to protect themselves.

Furthermore, in case you do not know, guns and ammunition are presently very hard to come by because there are so many first-time gun owners preparing for violence that may come to their neighborhoods, especially those who live in democratic cities.
