False Christian teachings, trends….
This post contains two videos about faith, the first, by John MacArthur is ‘walking by faith.’ In this 5-minute excerpt, he talks about the disciples having walked with Christ in this world, had to adjust to walking by faith after His ascension; the second video, 31-minutes, is a reading of A W Pinks, ‘evidences of saving faith.’ Sermon points are supplied before each video.
In this post is an introductory sermon of John MacArthur’s series on Galatians. Sermon highlight points precede the 48-minute video for those who would rather read. The initial 20 minutes or so is devoted to the lives of Job and Luther, to show godly fear that moved these men to seek God, but that did not avail in reconciliation until God intervened. If you know little about the difference between the seeking of salvation/reconciliation with God via works or via faith, then you should benefit from hearing his words. Also, he describes some current false teachers, also highlighted in the points.
Musk took over Twitter in October, taking the company private. He then fired around half of the staff and much of the upper management, vowing to take Twitter in a new direction. The “#TwitterFiles” releases have been part of his promised focus on transparency for the company. He allowed several independent journalists to submit search queries that were then used by Twitter staff to search through the company’s internal documents… The two journalists primarily responsible for the releases have been journalists Matt Taibbi, a former contributing editor for Rolling Stone magazine, and Bari Weiss, a former editor at both The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Both are liberals who have expressed disillusionment with the more extreme currents of progressivism and neoliberalism.
I personally do not fly anywhere, but those who do might want to consider the words of this article. This post contains an 8-minute excerpt from a John Anderson interview with Victor Davis Hanson. I summarized several of Hanson’s points into a 2-minute read. Those highlight points, however, do not convey all that he said. He was apparently addressing a question about the mid-terms (I didn’t listen to the full-length interview, but surmised from his comments). Hanson is one of the most intelligent and rational voices of our day, his insights are worth considering.
The following 1-minute 36-second video noted 8 secular predictions about catastrophic climate change which did not materialize; then he mentions one biblical reference to it that will occur. In the process, he glosses over the points that globalists are making to justify their irrational actions that are harming citizens of many countries presently….
The two-minute video of this post is to introduce yoga practitioners to a Christian alternative that does not subject one to the spiritual dangers of yoga
The purpose of this post is to provide an alternative to yoga for the Christian who wants to do stretching type exercises. If you viewed the last post about yoga with Doreen Virtue, then you learned that yoga poses are worship that mimics Hindu deities. It is therefore, spiritually dangerous to the Christian. The following 14-minute video is a short workout from AM-PM PraiseMoves video. The second video is a 2-minute Power Promises video about a portion of scripture by Lorette Willis; she apparently offers a daily read of some portion of scripture for meditation.
In the video of this post, Chad, of Good Fight Ministries interviewed Doreen Virtue on ‘Christian’ yoga. She spoke for about 5 minutes after his brief introduction, providing numerous specific warnings as she described several poses and the Hindu gods / demons these poses mimic. If you are a Christian and have been practicing yoga, please spend a few moments listening to this video.
