While I was searching for videos on a different topic, I discovered the following site and upon exploring his videos, I found this one on the Asbury ‘revival.’
I was impressed with the care this young vlogger took in explaining the event; and I believe that his video offers listeners other points of value than merely some biblical conclusions about Asbury. I noted those few things before the video.
- He provided a careful and biblical explanation of the event
- He noted about a half-dozen people he turns to for help in understanding social events via a biblical lense; that is good, if you are also looking for such people
- He did a good job looking at points that needed to be considered about the event via scripture; he cited the scripture and stated his conclusions clearly
- At one point, as he was discussing the inherent nature of a ‘revival;’ establishing that repentance is essential, he talked about what the evangelical church needed to repent of – his list was thorough. If you are trying to find your way out of error, you will benefit from considering those elements
