On Being a Christian Introvert, Tim Challies

In the following 7 minute video, Tim Challies answers questions sent in by his viewers. He talks about introversion, extraversion and self-denial such that we might get some insight into the small struggles of the practical Christian life.

That is, as an introvert, he finds it easy to spend time alone: Bible reading, praying, and other solitary activities; that solitary activities recharge him. He noted that he has to deny himself when he is called to interact with groups, witness and such interpersonal activities; extraverts have the opposite problem.

He talked about setting little goals to interact if you’re introverted. I found that useful, because I am. But he had helpful suggestions for extraverts too.
