Jesus Saves Another from the LGBTQ community

I found this testimony on a YouTube site called, Sea Harp. I subscribed some months back because they post readings by C H Spurgeon, C S Lewis, Jonathan Edwards, A W Tozer… in short videos suited for meditating upon. Their videos have nice music and scenery and are read in a peaceful manner….

Today, while I searched through their videos, I found the following testimony of a homosexual man and his coming out into faith in Jesus.

The video was titled: Jesus, even if it kills me I will follow You.

I am posting it in the hopes that it will be an encouragement to others who are struggling to do the same; or to others that never considered it a possibility that Jesus would save them.

Also, I am posting it for Christians who may encounter such people, that they might have a little guidance about how to interact with them in a way that is helpful.

I don’t agree with everything I heard on the video about Christ, but the foundational thing he got right: Jesus saves sinners, that usually means one must see his sin and his helplessness to escape it on his own. One can change via Jesus’ strength and grace.

The testimony is by Jim Farrington, who now works for First Stone Ministries, a ministry for the sexually broken:  https://www.firststone.org/

The following video is also from Sea Harp and I included it because it is relevant; C S Lewis talked about losing your life to find your real self:

The following excerpt from Augustine’s City of God is very brief and also relevant. Also, it is another taste of how this channel presents spiritual readings:

About Sea Harp:

Sea Harp connects passionate followers of Jesus to content that fosters deeper, personal encounters with Him and echoes the heartbeat of the first-century church. In the words of Andrew Murray, our overarching aim is to “be much occupied with Jesus.”
