In the following 4-minute excerpt, Ken Ham explains why it is that the younger generation is leaving the church. His explanation is the best I’ve ever heard and you won’t hear it from any of the contemporary church leaders, they do not understand the problem.
This brief excerpt has drawings of two castles, one belongs to man and is founded on his word; the other castle is founded on God’s word.
He explains that the attacks on God’s word are undermining its authority and replacing that with man’s authority. [Earlier in the video, he explained that the Humanists control the schools and have taught the younger generation their worldview, based on evolution, ‘man’s doctrines.’]
His illustration shows that the social problems we experience are the symptoms of the attacks Humanism has launched against God’s word….
That is, moral relativism, abortion, gay marriage… are symptoms of the real problem.
Church leaders and politicians focus on the symptoms and believe they can change society by doing so, Ken Ham’s illustration demonstrates that our leaders are focused on changing the fruit; this problem will not change unless the root is dealt with.
In the initial 20 minutes of the video, Ken explained in sufficient detail how general disbelief of Genesis one through eleven is the root of our problem. The church has participated in the erosion of the authority of Gen 1-11….
The Bible calls us to preach the gospel to all the world; the foundation of the Bible and the gospel is Genesis 1-11. [He made that clear in the early part of this video.]
If you are a Christian and have young children, you must understand how Ken Ham explains the social problems of America. Then you can think rightly about solutions; teach your children rightly and witness rightly….
