Freedom of Speech: Understanding the Fundamentals of This First Amendment Right Might Free You From the PC Mafia

The following 7 minute video from the YouTube site, Crash Course Government and Politics, provides a basic definition of freedom of speech.

The purpose of this post is to shed some light on a major tool of the socialist democratic party, political correctness, pc.

The first amendment right of freedom of speech was intended to give citizens protection when they criticized government; as in most countries, imprisonment, execution…are the consequences of speaking negatively about government.

So, freedom of speech has nothing to do with political correctness; and it was not intended to define verbal interactions between two or more individuals.

The Marxist politically correct movement is a construct of the American socialist movement. It is an initial step of the indoctrination process; that is, you are being targeted, Marxists are attempting to introduce you to socialism, via pc.

Based upon the overwhelming acceptance of pc in the public arena, it is clear that socialism is making inroads even among people who consider themselves conservative.

What gives pc so much leverage in social situations?

People are afraid of being shamed; of experiencing rejection, exclusion, mockery, name-calling and worsel; therefore, many who would not otherwise conform, do conform. They become followers of the pc majority, because not doing so is socially painful.

The message is, if you are not a follower, if you dare to act independently of our pc posse which has dictated our elitist standard, then you are a loser. We will hate and mock you for being your own person; for following the values of your godly parents; for following the Bible’s standards; or whatever standard you follow that is different from our pc mafia’s elite standard.

Yes, it has gained much ground in the past couple of decades; and although some socialists become violent when you violate their standards of pc, they cannot make you conform.

Most conform, however, because of the social payoff. But if you can see that conforming makes you a follower, the payoff of social acceptance might not offset the loss of integrity you experience when you pillow your head at night.
