Florida is run by a strong republican governor, whereas CA and NY are run by democrats.
The safety of citizens used to be the most fundamental concern of state lawmakers and enforcers; that is no longer the case, unless you make it the case when you vote.
Another matter that must be considered is the second amendment right to bear arms. Now that we have an open border and the Biden administration is flying and busing unvetted illegals to every state, you may find that some of your neighbors are violent criminals. If you live in a democratic-run state, then you have a problem….
