Dr. Mayfield’s explanations of Owen’s difficult writings make them very applicable to one’s Christian walk. Owen’s works set the bar that other Christian writers aspire to; that is, those who seek to remain true to scripture. Therefore, it is very beneficial to know what Owen says about dealing with sin.
