This chapter consists of three principal parts divided into 43 sections:
I. A brief explanation of certain matters pertaining to the doctrine of faith: sec. 1 – 14
- Of the object of faith
- of implicit faith
- definition of faith
- the various meanings of the term faith
II. A full exposition of the definition given in the seventh section: sections 14 – 40
III. A brief confirmation of the definition by the authority of an apostle. The mutual relation between faith, hope, and charity: sections 41 – 43
There are 5, 30 minute videos below. The first reader is a bit difficult to understand, but readers of videos 2 – 5 enunciate clearly. I am posting all 5 videos here so that they may more easily be listened to in order if so desired.
