In this newsletter, Mike answers the following questions / or explains the following concepts: How Good Do You Have To Be? Christ’s Righteousness Is Man’s Only Hope; Paul Exchanged His Righteousness for Christ’s; Zeal for God Without His Righteousness; and, Man’s Sin Exchanged for Christ’s Righteousness.
This, the first of the father’s lectures, introduces us to some of the crucial distinctions between wisdom and folly. Wisdom comes to us in the form of teaching and instruction, and so it may not look particularly appealing. However, it yields a harvest of social honour and moral beauty. Folly, contrastingly, looks enticing but in the end yields destruction. This is the boomerang effect of folly: when we act foolishly, in the end we hurt ourselves. Fools lie in wait for their own blood.
His morning thoughts provide some understanding about God’s purposes in affliction. All believers are shaped by it, and receiving it is not always something we want to do; Spurgeon’s words help with that in particular. His evening thoughts encourage us in learning to hold the things of this earth loosely because they are temporary, while we are being taught to see the things of Christ as precious. The Spirit shows the foolish and temporal things we have been trusting in as He helps us make the transition to trusting wholly in Christ. Spurgeon’s words remind us that our trust in earthly things must be let go of and transferred to Christ alone.

The following video shows celebrities, talk show hosts, a sports commentator, Paul Washer and Voddie Baucham taking a stand for Christ and talking of Him openly; it contrasts those people with those taking an open stance for Satan. The sports commentator’s remarks about sin were very helpful: he used scripture to talk about sin, but he also included himself in that group of sinners. He was able to confront the biggest cultural issues in a humble, loving manner.

And I see that that’s what they’re creating now with a lot of these kids.” After watching the destructive impact that progressive policies were having in California, Alvin Lui packed up and relocated to the Midwest. But in Indiana, he saw the same ideology taking hold. “So I realized that if I didn’t try to at least do something … that I can’t complain. And I have nothing to complain about because I grew up in the time where I might be able to do something about it, even if it’s just a couple of parents at a time,” says Lui. This post contains two videos on hell. The first is 2-minutes 28-seconds in length; therein, Voddie Baucham provides a biblical explanation of hell that you may not have heard before. His explanation silences all those who say that it was unfair for God to have saved only some people from hell…. The second video, 15 minutes, is the son of pastor John Piper, Abraham Piper, who via Tic Toc rants and mocks hell. The video was produced because A Piper has over a million YouTube followers and his erroneous teaching needs to be challenged.
The purpose of this post is to show what has happened to the values of, SBC preacher, J D Greear between the years of 2014 and 2021. He flip-flopped from holding biblical doctrine to holding un-biblical doctrine. In the initial video, from 2014, you will hear Pastors Voddie Baucham, Russell Moore and J D Greear discussing gay marriage. These men also say a lot about biblical marriage and what has happened via cultural influences. Each man was pro-Bible in his doctrine. In the second video, 2021, you will hear what J D Greear said then about gay marriage and homosexuality. His doctrinal stance had become anti-Bible.
