Progressive District Attorneys Radically Change Rule of Law in California Cities – Epoch Times

…progressive prosecutors contend “the reason why there’s so many criminals is because our justice system turns them into criminals, it’s a backwards argument,” the source said. “They argue that people keep getting arrested because cops keep arresting them and that’s the problem.” Some believe if police would just leave people alone, they wouldn’t commit crimes, the source said. Crimes, especially property offenses, are vastly underreported because the public has lost faith in the justice system, the source said. “They think that no one cares. They think that nothing is going to happen,” the source said.
When police sometimes tell victims of property crimes there’s no point in reporting these incidents because district attorneys likely won’t do anything, “unfortunately, they’re right,” the source said.

Loudoun County Moms Set Out to Protect Their Children; Now They’re Trying to Save America – Epoch Times

It was then that she decided she needed to do something about what was being taught in her child’s school. “I see people fighting racism with more racism,” she said. “Critical race theory now is trying to take the children away from the parents to make them social justice warriors. Book Review: ‘Black Eye for America’: An Explanation of Critical Race Theory – Epoch Times

…CRT holds that a capitalist society sustains itself, in part, by imparting a “false consciousness” on workers to legitimize the social hierarchy and to reduce the likelihood of revolutionary action. The supposed harmful aspects of “whiteness” include individualism, self-reliance, two-parent homes, rational thinking, and a belief that hard work pays off. Members of minority groups must reject these white concepts even if these habits and activities promote community cohesion and individual well-being. As a consequence, CRT in schools teaches self-hate to white children and demeans children of color by denying them ownership of and control over their own lives. Racism is no longer defined as hating, demeaning, or devaluing others based on their race. Instead, all whites who do not support the ideas of CRT are considered racist by virtue of having “white” values.

Sanctification, The Believer’s Transformation, Part 2 – Dr. John MacArthur

This sermon is about sanctification; the born-again believer lives his entire Christian life between the events of justification and glorification, being progressively sanctified, or made holy. The believer’s chief identity is to be found ‘in Christ.’ Dr. MacArthur’s main text is from Colossians 3, but he also uses Hebrews 12; 2 Corinthians; Ephesians 2. He never stated that this sermon undermines anyone attempting to justify CRT in the church, but it does. I linked a post from this blog wherein Dr. Voddie Baucham spoke about the SBC adopting CRT.
