Asian Catholic Nun’s Conversion Testimony: A Long Search For Truth

In the following 18 minute video, Jeong – Soon Hyeon spoke about her long search to find truth about Christ and salvation. About half-way through the video, she began to speak more specifically about her conversion.

She notes that initially she was focused on experiences and feelings; about practicing what she personally thought was worship…which moved her to join the Roman Catholic church and become a nun. Her spiritual unrest moved her to leave the RCC after 10 years as a nun. Thereafter, God apparently used friends of hers to lead her to real conversion.

If you spent a long time looking for God and truth, then you will likely resonate with her testimony.

STUDY RECOMMENDATIONS:

Listen to and heed the following sermon by Dr. John MacArthur. It speaks of a journey like that of the Asian Nun above. It is an individual struggle to find the narrow gate and to enter into the narrow way.

I used MacArthur’s sermon on another post that can be found in the category Prosperity Preachers, The Highway to Hell…; but it is very informative in this context also.

He is preaching on Matthew 7:13ff, a very important passage; I recommend note taking and multiple hearings, as Dr. MacArthur brings to light many valuable points that pilgrims need to discover in their walk with Christ.
