Alicia Solomon’s Music, Based on Scripture

I posted 3 of Alicia Solomon’s songs, based on the following scriptures: Psalm 23; Psalm 137 and; Psalm 27, Wait on the Lord. The entire album can be heard on YouTube and purchased at Amazon.

Song based on Psalm 23:

The following scripture references are from Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, an E-sword (free Bible Software) commentary.

References are posted in case someone would like to check some of them according to their personal needs.

If you had E-sword on your pc, then you would only have to rest your cursor on any reference, and a pop-up box would display the entire verse or passage. It is wonderful for following scripture references. (Free to download at Esword.net –don’t use Google to get there, any other search engine.)

The bold words indicate the beginning of the phrase which the references further explain; all of these words are based on the KJV:

Song based on Psalm 137: I used to hate this psalm, but it is meaningful to me for a perspective when I am out of fellowship with the Lord because of sin. They had deep remorse because they were no longer in His favor, they were beginning exile.

The following verses speak to the same type of alienation from God, or fear of it, and the remorse that comes with such a state:

Psa 119:43  And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

take not: Psa_119:13, Psa_50:16, Psa_51:14-15, Psa_71:17-18; Isa_59:21; Eph_1:13; Jas_1:18
