At today’s Senate Health Committee hearing, Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) asked CDC Director Rochelle Walensky about her department’s vaccination rates. [11-4-21]
If you only want to hear her squirm and dance around the senator’s questions about her own department’s compliance with vaccination mandates, start listening just before the 4 minute mark of this 7 minute video.
Dr. Walensky was clearly, skillfully avoiding providing true information to senator Cassidy, who asked very targeted and knowledgeable questions; I was happy to see that there are senators who are so competent and supportive of the rights of his constituency.

The questioning of senator Cassidy seems to reveal just another instance of this administration’s double standard; there were many examples of blue state governors and mayors demanding their constituents follow stringent rules while they did as they pleased during the pandemic and riots.
