1 Corinthians 6:9-20 On Sexual Sin; Part 1 of 2

This post is the part one of a two-part mini-series, but actually the third post I have written against Greear’s teaching in the following 1-minute video. Therein, J D Greear told his congregation that sexual sin should not be stigmatized; that it should be whispered about because that is what the Bible does while it loudly confronts greed…. Greear is likely saying these things about the Bible because the SBC has incorporated Marxist ideology via CRT and related teachings. Marxist ideology is anti-Christ, anti-God and anti-Bible. Marx stated that religion is the ‘opiate of the masses.’ In other words, those who subscribe to a belief in God, the Bible…are high on opium and not in their right minds, he would have you worship the state as God. The following scriptures and commentary show that Greear’s teachings on that video are grossly unbiblical and heretical.

The Gospel- The Only Hope Of Escaping God’s Wrath Against Sin

This post contains the gospel message presented by Mike Gendron, a former Roman Catholic. He was converted after having been a practicing Catholic for 37 years. His presentation contains many references to scripture and is worthy of study for anyone who doesn’t really know the gospel message or how to present it. This post was copied and pasted from an email I received from his ministry.

Philippians 2:16 holding fast to the word of life….

Philippians 2:16 holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.  In this post, you will learn what the ‘word of life’ is and to what professed Christians are obligated in this world. You will also, certainly learn the value and necessity of reading the Bible. That is not the message of many churches in our time – they are sorely mistaken, proclaiming their man-centered gospel messages that cause hearers to be established in the Broad WAY of destruction.

Holiness Code For Today, Leviticus 18, Dr. James White

The following post is on Leviticus 18, by Dr. James White. It is being posted inform Christians about what God expects from those in covenant with Him. Also, for those who engage with people who argue that God’s laws against homosexuality are passe,’ Dr. White provides foundational understanding that will enable you to explain to them, per scripture, that they are mistaken.

A Sight of Self – Charles Spurgeon Christian Audio Sermons

This post opens with the plight that many believers find themselves in, that their continued vows to stop sinning always fail. That scenario is clearly described, and a remedy is indicated. Sermon text is, Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. 7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee….

Ephesians 6:10-18 The Armor Of God – John Calvin Commentary Excerpts

The purpose of this post is to add some clarity to the concept of the ‘armor of God’ as the apostle Paul spoke of it in Ephesians 6. I recently came to a simpler understanding of it via listening to a couple of sermons of John Calvins and reading his commentary on 6:10-18. … Before writing this, I read through Calvin’s commentary on that passage of Ephesians 6, to ascertain that I heard him correctly. Excerpts from Calvin’s commentary will be used to make my point below, after I define ‘God’s appointed means of grace’ for those who do not know specifically what those are.

It Would Be An Awful Thing – Charles Spurgeon

It Would Be An Awful Thing – Charles Spurgeon [one-minute video short from CS&A] Millions of men are in the outlying regions, far off from God and peace; for these we pray, and to these we give warning. But just now we have to do with a smaller company, who are not far from the kingdom, but have come right up to the wicket gate [a term from Pilgrim’s Progress] which stands at the head of the way of life. One would think that they would hasten to enter, for a free and open invitation is placed over the entrance, the porter waits to welcome them, and there is but this one way to eternal life. He that is most loaded seems the most likely to pass in and begin the heavenward journey; but what ails the other men?
