The following 13 minute video by Academy of Ideas describes the totalitarian movement that is currently sweeping the globe. They characterize it as a religion requiring absolute loyalty of its followers; a religion wherein the ‘state’ is god. Past failures of such systems are stated while they point out that similar current abuses by those in power are quite easy to identify for those who are willing to see them. As I listened to the video, I realized that I wanted to comment on some things they did not emphasize, chiefly, what keeps people believing in the utopian lies of this totalitarian system.

A portion of those infected have exhibited mild symptoms. The vaccine continues to demonstrate effectiveness against serious illness.”

Jessica Konen, one of about 30 people who spoke during an extended public comment period, told the board that school staff indoctrinated her child and usurped her parental authority. Konen blasted the board and accused teachers and staff of coaching her gender dysphoric daughter through the Equality Club, an LGBTQ+ support group now called the You Be You (UBU) Club at Buena Vista Middle School. “I stand here today in front of all of you because I am outraged. Is this really barely coming to light? Are you guys serious?” she said. “How could you even allow this? How could you even have this meeting to question it? When police sometimes tell victims of property crimes there’s no point in reporting these incidents because district attorneys likely won’t do anything, “unfortunately, they’re right,” the source said.

Ohio and Rhode Island on Saturday became the 28th and 29th states to report cases of the Omicron virus variant. Ohio officials said two cases were detected, both of which were among persons who were fully vaccinated more than six months ago. Rhode Island officials confirmed one case. The patient is fully vaccinated and recently returned from New York. …Officials disclosed the vaccination status of 66 of the infected individuals. Of those, the vast majority, or 52, were fully vaccinated. Some had even gotten booster shots.
