Germany Debates Mandatory Vaccines for Everyone After Austria Announcement – Epoch Times

Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg announced last week that COVID-19 vaccines would be mandatory starting Feb. 1, 2022, because the government has “not succeeded in convincing enough people to get vaccinated.” The move appeared to prompt Bavarian premier Markus Soder to say that German officials should impose a similar vaccine requirement. …But Heiko Maas, Germany’s foreign minister and top member of the Social Democrats, said Friday that Austria-style vaccine mandates “won’t happen.” …Last week, officials initially placed millions of people who aren’t fully vaccinated on lockdown, a measure that has now increased to the whole population regardless of vaccination status. Schallenberg said the lockdown and vaccination requirement is needed to avoid a “fifth wave,” referring to an increase of cases in the past week.

Protests Erupt Against Lockdowns and Vaccine Mandates Across Europe – Epoch Times

In Austria, tens of thousands of people took to the streets in Vienna, Salzburg, and other cities after the Austrian government announced a nationwide lockdown to deal with what it describes as a surge of COVID-19 cases. Austria’s lockdown, which follows a so-called “lockdown on the unvaccinated,” will start on Monday for an initial 10 days before government officials reevaluate it, meaning that people can only leave their homes for certain reasons, including going to the doctor, buying groceries, or exercising. Starting Feb. 1, Austria’s government said it will make vaccines mandatory for everyone. On Saturday, many waved Austrian flags while carrying signs with slogans such as “no to vaccination,” “enough is enough,” or “down with the fascist dictatorship.” Authorities said that in Vienna, the crowd surged to about 35,000 people.

OSHA Suspends Implementation, Enforcement of Vaccine Mandate – Epoch Times

The Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) says it has suspended the implementation and enforcement of the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for private businesses. The announcement came shortly after a U.S. appeals court rejected a challenge by the Biden administration on Nov. 12 and reaffirmed its decision to put on hold OSHA’s mandate, which requires that businesses with 100 employees or more ensure that workers either be vaccinated against COVID-19 by Jan. 4, 2022, or be tested weekly and wear a mask.

Singapore is one of the most vaccinated countries on earth, with 85 percent of the population fully vaccinated. Singapore has soaring rates of infection—almost four times its highest pre-vaccination rates. Deaths are also soaring, to 12 times their pre-vaccination rates. Six months ago, Bloomberg’s COVID Resilience Ranking scale deemed Singapore “the world’s best place to be during Covid.” Today, after becoming highly vaccinated, Singapore ranks 39th, its lowest ever ranking. Ireland is even more heavily vaccinated—92 percent of adults and 89 percent of those over 12 years of age have had two jabs, making it the EU’s most vaccinated jurisdiction. Yet despite the ever-increasing numbers who are doubly vaccinated, infections are surging in Ireland, to the highest rate since March. Within Ireland, the city of Waterford, whose over-18 population is 99.7 percent fully vaccinated, has Ireland’s highest rate of infection. Waterford County, which previously had one of Ireland’s lowest rates of infection, now has one of the highest. Herd immunity based on vaccinations not only has failed to stop the spread, it has also failed to prevent serious outcomes….

…CRT holds that a capitalist society sustains itself, in part, by imparting a “false consciousness” on workers to legitimize the social hierarchy and to reduce the likelihood of revolutionary action. The supposed harmful aspects of “whiteness” include individualism, self-reliance, two-parent homes, rational thinking, and a belief that hard work pays off. Members of minority groups must reject these white concepts even if these habits and activities promote community cohesion and individual well-being. As a consequence, CRT in schools teaches self-hate to white children and demeans children of color by denying them ownership of and control over their own lives. Racism is no longer defined as hating, demeaning, or devaluing others based on their race. Instead, all whites who do not support the ideas of CRT are considered racist by virtue of having “white” values.
