UVALDE, Texas—The school in which 19 children and two teachers were massacred on May 24, had been in lockdown four times in the month prior to the shooting, said Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin. Schools in the whole district had been in lockdown mode 47 times since February due to the border crisis spilling into the city, which is a smuggling corridor from the U.S.–Mexico border to San Antonio, a recent Texas House of Representatives report stated.

American consumers are feeling the pain and are increasingly spending more of their income on many basic groceries, as prices “are exceeding these inflationary measures“ said the report. “The effects of high and sustained inflation are much more pernicious than unemployment in the sense that high prices affect more people,” noted Mark Hamrick, Bankrate’s Senior Economic Analyst. “The cost of basics is increasingly out of reach for many.” Inflation is costing the average American $460 more per month, according to Ryan Sweet, Senior Director of Economic Research at Moody’s Analytics.

Over 2,500 migrants released from Border Patrol custody after illegally migrating have taken free bus rides to the nation’s capital. The busses have departed from border towns across Texas and Arizona earlier as governors of both states attempt to stem the flow of illegal migrants into their state “These people are wanting to go somewhere else. The 12-minute video in this post clearly explains a major problem in America, the struggle between those who conform to social Marxism (subscribing to the political left, bowing to political correctness, blindly accepting their propaganda as truth…) and those who are not conforming. I have been writing about this problem but have not been able to put it in terms that this video uses; it clearly presents the matter and provides a solution.
After listening to the video, you will recognize that the solution is emerging at great cost to those involved; hopefully, more will take up the cause after it is clarified for them.
There’s a growing chorus for strict gun control following the tragic murders in Buffalo, New York, and Uvalde, Texas, where deranged individuals took the lives of innocent Americans. Ryan Petty isn’t among them, though some might expect him to be. Petty’s 14-year-old daughter Alaina was murdered in the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy. Instead of blaming gun owners that follow the law, he’s inviting them and others with a call-to-action of his own: Go to the range, practice and show your support for the Second Amendment.
Over the last several weeks, the perception has grown that Elon Musk will not be the emancipator of Twitter, freeing it finally from its mysterious algorithms that throttle, block, and ban perfectly wonderful accounts solely based on the political vendetta of employees and management. It’s said that he has cold feet, as if Elon’s demand for better data is purely a cover for emotional doubt. That’s simply not true. What he has intuited—that Twitter underreports the sheer fake accounts and bot armies that use its platform—could in fact become another scandal for our age.
