When Gordon Gekko, the main antagonist in the 1987 film “Wall Street,” declared in no uncertain terms that “Greed is good!” people flocked to the theaters. And cheered. Please don’t base your belief system on a movie line that might have been memorable and entertaining but is dead wrong. Greed is like cancer that, when left untreated, can destroy individuals, families, businesses, governments, and economies. Greed makes financially ignorant people putty in the hands of the consumer credit industry.
Maryland’s Firearms Safety Act of 2013, enacted on the theory that restricting legal gun purchases promotes safety, is among the strictest in the nation. …Applicants must complete safety training and be fingerprinted before a gun permit will be issued. The state bans popular weapons such as the AR-15 and similar rifles and limits magazine capacity to 10 rounds. Maryland law also prohibits firearms with features such as flash hiders and folding stocks that the bloc of states argues enhance gun safety. … According to the brief, “the ‘useful in military service’ standard adopted by the Fourth Circuit” not only would “perversely result in eliminating constitutional protection from the very arms the Founders expected law-abiding citizens to bring with them when mustering for militia service … but taken to the limits of its logic, this standard threatens to strip constitutional protection from virtually all firearms.”
In this issue of Behind the Scenes with Curtis Bowers, the church is called to take the lead in this cultural battle for freedom. Curtis uses clips from a Eric Metaxas speech to encourage his viewers, and to explain just how the church should be conducting itself in a time such as this. Individual Christians will receive plenty of specifics about their roles in God’s world at this time.
He describes how the male student was placing his hands on the girl’s thigh and exposed her bra by pulling on her shirt. The girl asked him to stop but he continued. …The boy did not deny the girl’s accusations but accused the girl of the same actions. The boy was advised “there are consequences to his actions” and the father wants to place a “Stay Away” contract in place that prohibits him from speaking to her “by any means,” including through text messages, friends, and social media. …Despite the “Stay Away” agreement, Benjamin’s daughter texted him from school the next morning to let him know the boy was there and demanding to know why she had told people about the incident. …Benjamin contacted the school immediately and demanded they get his daughter into the safety of the principal’s office until he arrived. …The boy already had a known history of sexually assaulting girls at the school and was now admitting an inability to control his own actions. A few days later, Benjamin was horrified to learn from his daughter that one of her friends had become another victim of the same boy.
A few points that Curtis Bowers discussed on this episode of behind the scenes: Children taught to hate America and White people; Rioters, anarchists and thieves get no consequences; Parents do not have a right to know what their children learn in school; Mainstream is no longer protecting the innocence of children, but trying to defile them, their thought processes and their morals: anyone who is permitted to do this will succeed at destroying this nation; Creating conflicting narratives about masks, to cite one example, so that there is confusion and division among the citizens (later, he talks about the ‘Occupy Wall street movement and how the elite distracted the movement by creating a narrative on ‘racism’ because they feared unification of citizens against them) [Hillary used this same strategy by creating the Russia Hoax to distract from her email problem]

Martin claims she and her colleagues have witnessed “terrifying” reactions to the COVID shots among children—including blood clots, heart attacks, encephalopathy and arrhythmias—yet their concerns are simply dismissed. Among elderly patients, she’s noticed an uptick in falls and acute onset of confusion “without any known ideology.” Coworkers are also experiencing side effects, such as vision and cardiovascular problems.
