The Truth of God’s Word Vs. the Lies of Wokeism Romans 1:18-32. In the video of this post, Pastor Edwards defined ‘wokeism,’ he also provided an excellent overview of what is happening in our culture, the war between truth and lies. He described the various types of God’s judgments that have been unfolding via cultural events for the past half century. He also identified pastors who are receiving woke doctrines into their churches and clarified that false teachers are part of God’s judgments on us. Furthermore, he talked of social media influences such as Tic Toc and how those negatively influence children that are not monitored by knowledgeable parents. Pastor John Piper explains Oprah’s errors in her beliefs about the meaning of Psalm 37:4 – Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. In the process, he explains the biblical meaning of that verse and clarifies Oprah’s errors, agenda, motives…. Oprah’s view is also held by those in favor of ecumenism, the two biggest names in that arena are the Pope and Rick Warren; but many think that unity before doctrine is the right way.

In the following 4-minute excerpt, Ken Ham explains why it is that the younger generation is leaving the church. His explanation is the best I’ve ever heard and you won’t hear it from any of the contemporary church leaders, they do not understand the problem. His illustration shows that the social problems we experience are the symptoms of the attacks Humanism has launched against God’s word…. That is, moral relativism, abortion, gay marriage… are symptoms of the real problem. Church leaders and politicians focus on the symptoms and believe they can change society by doing so, Ken Ham’s illustration demonstrates that our leaders are focused on changing the fruit; this problem will not change unless the root is dealt with.
