This post contains a 2 minute 35 second video that provides an overview of the law and the gospel. Every Christian needs to have a working understanding of the relationship between the law and the gospel, Pastor Nelson touches on that in the video. Additionally, the adherents of every religion in the world believe they can do something to earn favor, to please God. It seems that many Christians also believe that. The video also touches on this fatal error that undoubtedly ruins the souls of many.

The Perversion of Love – John MacArthur
In this post, Pastor John MacArthur uses Ephesians 5:1-7 to explain God’s love and Satan’s counterfeit, perverted version of love that world-lings seek. In the process, the born-again Christian will likely get some clarity about what is pleasing to God and what types behavior, longings… are to be avoided.
Israel and the Church – Part 3 – the Land
This post contains Pastor Ramsey’s third sermon on Israel and the Church, the ‘land.’ His purpose in preaching this mini-series was to help Christians think biblically about Old Testament Israel, the church and the modern state of Israel. Much confusion prevails about these because of the widespread acceptance of the ‘dispensationalism,’ which he addressed in the first sermon. He concluded that the land of Canaan, Palestine, in the middle east is no longer holy, no longer religiously significant at all….
Taylor Swift’s Dangerous Descent into Witchcraft Sorcery & Casting Spells – Doreen Virtue and Pastor Joe Schimmel
Taylor Swift seemed like a sweet professing Christian pop country singer. So what happened to her? During her Eras tour as you’ll see in this video, Taylor is clearly dancing witches’ coven ceremonies during her Willow song, and she is posting about witchcraft, sorcery and casting spells. A witch school even welcomed Taylor into their tribe. Tragically though – even if Taylor genuinely doesn’t believe she’s a witch – she is glorifying witchcraft and is influencing audience members toward witchcraft.
Pastor Patrick Hines Podcast Romans 12:1-2 and Q&A
This post contains an excerpt and the full video from which it derives. It covers some widely misunderstood scriptures regarding ‘calling’ by God and much more that is relevant to the Christian life. Pastor Hines opened with the intention of discussing Romans 12:1-2, but via questions from listeners was led into explaining the phrase ‘God desires all to be saved….’ He explained two passages related to that from 1 Timothy 2 and 2 Peter 3. What is the seven mountain mandate, and is it biblical? | GotQuestions.org
This post aims at supporting the last post, which was about false prosperity preacher Andrew Wommack. Got Questions Ministries provides a very brief biblical perspective on the seven-mountain mandate and those who hold that man-centered doctrine.
Truth & Liberty Coalition expands culture war to 30 Colorado school boards – RNS
This post contains a RNS article about false prosperity preacher Andrew Wommack and a movement initiated by him. His movement is confronting real problems that are occurring in schools and elsewhere. My purpose is to alert Christians to the fact that he is a counterfeit preacher and his doctrines are NOT biblical. The Christ he preaches is not the Christ of the Bible. He is bringing reproach on the name of Christ, and if you affiliate yourself with him, you will also be doing that. The ‘hot-button’ issues identified in the article are real and need dealt with by Christians and conservatives. Curtis Bowers of Agenda Weekly, for example, is a true Christian who offers ways to deal with these issues in the name of the Christ of the Bible.
