Texas, Arizona Governors Ask All Other States to Send Police to US-Mexico Border: Epoch Times

Some 1,000 Texas Department of Public Safety troopers, hundreds of Texas National Guard soldiers, Arizona Department of Public Safety and law enforcement officers, and hundreds of Arizona National Guard soldiers have been deployed to the border, according to the letter. At the same time, Abbott and Ducey took aim at President Joe Biden’s administration and accused him of fostering policies that encourage illegal immigrants to come to the border, saying they were forced to declare a disaster and an emergency in their respective states. Abbott, meanwhile, announced Thursday that Texas will conduct a “comprehensive border security plan to crack down on illegal border crossings” in the state, which would potentially include the construction of a state-funded border wall.

This Is New York, Newt Gingrich

The troubles currently facing New York City and its residents are boundless. Skyrocketing crime, random assaults, stabbings, and shootings have hurt the already struggling restaurant and tourism industries amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. There is also an obvious decline in the quality of life from higher taxes, increased homelessness, as well as the difficult situations faced by low-income families forced into low-quality public schools. These economic, social, and safety issues facing the city have come to light in a new documentary titled “This Is New York” by director and filmmaker Matthew Taylor, a guest on my Newt’s World podcast last week.

Montana AG Concerned Illegal Immigrants May Be Relocated to Montana, North Dakota: Epoch Times

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials stated there are “no plans” to send illegal immigrants to northern states such as North Dakota and Montana, although Montana’s attorney general expressed concern that it might eventually happen. …“Putting illegal immigrants in North Dakota would endanger our communities and do nothing to fix the border crisis @POTUS caused but still won’t acknowledge,” he wrote last week. “@DHSgov told me over the weekend this won’t happen, and I plan to hold the administration to that.”

France Fines Google $268 Million for Unfair Online Ads Treatment: Epoch Times

PARIS—France’s anti-competition watchdog decided Monday to fine Google 220 million euros ($268 million) for abusing its “dominant position” in the online advertising business, an unprecedented move, the body said.
