Congresswoman Nancy Mace: ‘Inflation Is Taxation’- Epoch Times

Freshman Rep. Nancy Mace (R-N.C.) said Monday that although President Joe Biden and the Democrats have said they will not raise taxes on low- and middle-income earners, out-of-control spending by the federal government is causing inflation and is a form of taxation. …Some Fed officials are not fully convinced that inflation is temporary. St. Louis Fed President James Bullard said Monday that the economy is in unprecedented territory, making it hard to know where inflation will go next… …“When I go to the grocery store today, I’m shopping on the exterior aisle—meat, fruit, and vegetables—because the cost of groceries has gone up 21 percent. The cost of lumber to build a house, up 381 percent, which means to build a house today, over last year, is 30 percent more expensive today than it was a year ago. And after Colonial Pipeline, we all saw gas prices go up. My gas prices have stayed up. They haven’t gone back down,” said Mace.

Black theologian sounds warning, savages ‘demonic’ ideologies behind CRT, BLM, antiracism

Before becoming a Christian, he’d been attracted to the teachings of Malcolm X, who “denounced Christianity as a religion designed for slaves,” according to Brown. The theologian explained that such a worldview was incompatible with Christianity. But it was the exposure to those ideas gave him keen insight into “the nature of CRT and other ideologies that seek to politically weaponize race and undermine faith,” as Brown noted. …But he sees a darker side to these movements. Regarding Black Lives Matter, he writes in his book, “The organization is Marxist, revolutionary, feminist, misandrous, pro-LGBTQIA+, pro-abortion, and anti-family, with roots in the occult. It is unacceptable for Christians to partner with, celebrate, identify with or promote this organization.”

New Study Links Ivermectin to ‘Large Reductions’ in COVID-19 Deaths: Epoch Times

The use of the antiparasitic drug ivermectin could lead to “large reductions” in COVID-19 deaths and may have a “significant impact” on the pandemic globally, according to a recent pre-print review based on peer-reviewed studies. …researchers concluded with a moderate level of confidence that the drug reduced the risk of death in COVID-19 patients by an average of 62 percent, at a 95 percent confidence interval of 0.19–0.79, in a sample of 2,438 patients.

Defund the Universities: Epoch Times

I’m not merely suggesting that states defund their public universities. I’m recommending that all funding for universities, both private and public, be withdrawn. Even private colleges benefit from, and depend on, a whole array of government subsidies from grants and loans to students, research money, Reserve Officers’ Training Corps and other military provisions, and so on. It’s time to end all of it. …Funding our universities today is like giving money to our foreign enemies. Just as our foreign enemies work assiduously to destroy our society and our culture, so too, the universities are doing the same, but domestically, internally. They’re the enemy within. And the tragedy is that we have been giving them money to do it. Thus, we, no less than they, are to blame for the harm they’re doing. Their future is in our hands, and by cutting them off, we save ourselves and our children.

US Reliance on Russian Oil Surges to Record High Amid Tensions: Epoch Times

“Last month we saw a record 5.75 million barrels of Russian crude discharged in the US, and we’re projecting a further record this month of 7.5mn bbls,” ClipperData analysts wrote on Twitter on June 7. Critics argue that Biden’s climate agenda is hard on the U.S. oil industry but soft on foreign producers. “It’s disturbing to our industry that the Biden administration goes out of its way to disadvantage the American producer while buttressing the Iranian and Russian industries,” Kathleen Sgamma, president of the Western Energy Alliance, told The Epoch Times.

Joe Biden as leader of western democracies is an ‘insult to the free world’: Alan Jones, Sky News

In the following 3 minute video, Alan Jones comments on Biden’s image; green vs coal power; and the G7 conference which is enabling China. Furthermore, at G7, they proposed to stop funding coal-fired power; Jones noted that such legislation will put the western world at a disadvantage and give an edge to China and many other nations who will continue to use coal power and pollute the world…. [I quoted a passage of scripture that suggests God’s hand at work in these events]

Michigan’s Republican-led Senate on June 16 passed several bills that, if signed into law, would implement more voter identification requirements for in-person voters and absentee voters, adding Michigan to a growing list of states pursuing more stringent election measures. All Senate Republicans voted in favor of the three bills, while every Senate Democrat opposed them.

GOP House Members Who Voted to Impeach Trump Face 2022 MAGA Primary Opponents: Epoch Times

The 10 Republicans who joined the Democrat effort to impeach former President Donald Trump in February, saying he was responsible for the breach on the Capitol, all received criticism from their home states—while some were censured, others were told to resign. Currently, 9 out of the 10 are facing primary challengers from within the GOP, Trump’s America First Wing. “Instead of attacking me and, more importantly, the voters of our movement, top establishment Republicans in Washington should be spending their energy in opposing Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and the Democrats,” Trump said in his February CPAC speech. …“President Trump stated, ‘The Liz Cheney’s of the world: We have to get rid of them,’” said Bouchard in a media release. “It looks like conservatives across America, but especially in Wyoming, agree as strongly with him as I do. My campaign’s momentum is growing every day.”
