The Fruit of the Holy Spirit – Love – Mini Series Part 1

I intended to post a sermon about love, as is discussed in the following scriptural passage: Galatians 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23  gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

In the process of finding an image to use on my post, I discovered the following article because I wanted to use their image. I decided to post the article as the introduction to my mini series on the fruit of the Holy Spirit, love.

The next part will be a brief sermon expounding that fruit; then a word key study on love by Dr. Duane Spencer of Word of Grace Ministries, wherein he explains eros, philos and agape love.

An important reason for this series is to contrast biblical teachings on the Holy Spirit with those of false teacher Glenda Green. A post on her directly preceded this post.

I copied and pasted the following article from Yahoo:

Beautiful Bible Verses About Marriage

In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church.
