Knowledge of God and biblical understanding are foundational to the Christian life.
Our activities in this life, cause a certain type of foundation to be built, supporting the “house” of our Christian life. That “house” is what people see when they view us and interact with us.
Jesus talked about what those foundations rest upon in Matthew 7. Those who honor and obey God, have built upon rock (God’s commands, His word; and obedience); those who do not honor God, but honor self, pride…have built upon sand. The latter will fall when God sends tribulation and judgment.
