The Democrats have been the party of this China for some time, even before the Obama administration when the relationship rose to a new level…The endless talk of Trump–Russia collusion that began at the end of that administration and went on for three years, that anybody paying attention knew was fallacious from the start, was as an attempt to derail President Donald Trump but also served as an ongoing and, at least partly, deliberate distraction from the real issue at the crux of global politics.
