The following is a commentary on the progressive leftist leaders in this country and whom they are permitting to have power:

Psalm 12:7  Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.  Psa 12:8  The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted. (KJV)

Psalm 12:7 Therefore, LORD, we know You will protect the oppressed, preserving them forever from this lying generation,  Psa 12:8 even though the wicked strut about, and evil is praised throughout the land. (NLT)

Psalm 12:7 You will keep them, O Lord, you will keep them safe from this generation for ever. Psa 12:8 The sinners are walking on every side, and evil is honoured among the children of men. (BBE Bible in Basic English)

The Faithful Have Vanished

Psa 12:1 (A psalm by David for the music leader.) Please help me, LORD! All who were faithful and all who were loyal have disappeared.
Psa 12:2 Everyone tells lies, and no one is sincere.
Psa 12:3 Won’t you chop off all flattering tongues that brag so loudly?
Psa 12:4 They say to themselves, “We are great speakers. No one else has a chance.”
Psa 12:5 But you, LORD, tell them, “I will do something! The poor are mistreated and helpless people moan. I’ll rescue all who suffer.”
Psa 12:6 Our LORD, you are true to your promises, and your word is like silver heated seven times in a fiery furnace.
Psa 12:7 You will protect us and always keep us safe from those people.
Psa 12:8 But all who are wicked will keep on strutting, while everyone praises their shameless deeds.

Evil is honored when leaders (whom God has appointed to uphold law to protect law-abiding citizens – see Romans 13) bow down to the lawless.

I worked with violent juvenile offenders for 22 years, Psalm 12 describes the experience of law-abiding people when violent thugs are in control.

President Trump’s tweet to leaders in Washington state today couldn’t be more accurate!

We all need to pray to God for restoration of law and order in the USA so its citizens don’t have to resort to protecting themselves.
