Since I have used many of Dr. Mayfield’s brief videos in the categories of John Owen; Calvin’s Institutes; Jonathan Edwards, and Thomas Brooks, I wanted to pass this video along to inform and to invite Christians to check out his site.
Pastors like Owen and Edwards are not easy to understand and Dr. Mayfield’s brief videos provide basic understandings upon which a listener may build.
I had read Owen before discovering Dr. Mayfield’s videos on Owens mortification of sin. I found his videos beneficial, enabling me to gain understanding that had eluded me in my personal studies. If you have been struggling with your sins and haven’t read Owen, then you need to do so asap, as his insights are extremely beneficial.
