Just What Constitutes A Social-Media Crime? Should You Be Concerned?

The purpose of this post is to clarify just where America is headed regarding government censorship: two examples are given. The first is a 5-minute interview by John Anderson about social-media crimes citizens are being arrested for in Britain and elsewhere; that interview is followed by a very brief current article reported by American Faith of Norwegian woman Tonje Gjevjon who is being investigated by police for a statement on social media – “It’s just as impossible for men to become lesbian….” [Tonje Gjevjon is a lesbian film-maker and actress, her remark was to a trans mom on Facebook, there is also a link to an NY Post article on that matter]

Dr. MacArthur’s sermon emphasized the necessity of the born-again believer speaking God’s truth in our society. He explained the major problems of this society, and how these are the result of God’s judgment of abandonment. He briefly traced the social history of that judgment using Romans 1, and went to 2 Corinthians 10 and talked about ideological strongholds, how God’s truth is the only way those fall… that we must be focused on breaking these down by speaking God’s truth. He also explained how false teachers interfere with truth being spoken; and how politicians are increasing judgment by codifying wickedness, and more.

Jennifer Lahl, a former nurse and an independent film producer based in California, believes the “powerful testimonies” of these “detransitioners” about their gender confusion, doubt, and regret will resonate deeply with those who watch the documentary, “The Detransition Diaries: Saving Our Sisters.” “I thought this is a great way to communicate to people what’s happening to children at the hands of medical professionals,” Lahl told the Epoch Times…. Lahl said another reason for making the film is to challenge the narratives on transgender ideology, because transgender activists “don’t want to hear about anybody who regrets their decision.”

From Idaho to Texas, parents and conservative groups are organizing to push back against the sexualization of children that involves “drag” shows and LGBT content. In Idaho, a “drag kids” show with performers as young as 11 was postponed Sunday at the Boise Pride Festival in Idaho after the state GOP called on constituents to pressure event sponsors to withdraw support…. The Idaho GOP was able to mobilize hundreds of people to delay the “drag kids” event. When the Idaho GOP and its chair Dorothy Moon got wind of a drag show to be performed by 11- to 18-year-olds, the organization launched a series of press releases Sept. 7-8, saying the Left was using a taxpayer-funded event to “sexualize children.”

House Passes Same-Sex Marriage Bill, Backed by 47 Republicans – Epoch Times

“Specifically, the bill repeals and replaces provisions that define, for purposes of federal law, marriage as between a man and a woman and spouse as a person of the opposite sex with provisions that recognize any marriage that is valid under state law,” reads the bill’s summary on Congress’s website. “The bill also repeals and replaces provisions that do not require states to recognize same-sex marriages from other states with provisions that prohibit the denial of full faith and credit or any right or claim relating to out-of-state marriages on the basis of sex, race, ethnicity, or national origin,” the bill’s summary continued. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) introduced the bill on July 18. …Nadler takes the position that same-sex marriage is a “fundamental right” that was targeted by the Supreme Court.
