Pence ‘Didn’t Have the Courage’ to Reject Electoral Votes, Trump Says: Epoch Times

“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “USA demands the truth!”
…Trump has been urging Pence in the days leading to the joint session that he should discard electoral votes from battleground states where the integrity of the election is being questioned. Speaking to a supportive crowd outside the White House, Trump on Wednesday once again called on his vice president to use the power to reject presidential election results from those states.

Mitch McConnell: Congress Cannot Overturn Election: Epoch Times

“Every election we know features some illegality and irregularity, and of course that’s unacceptable. I support strong state-led voting reforms. Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) said he would join in Arizona’s electoral objection. STILL NEED SENATORS FOR MI NV WI!” Brooks wrote on Twitter. “America—urge your senators to fight voter fraud & election theft!” …Hawley revealed that Antifa activists protested outside his home in Washington, demanding that he drop the electoral challenge, as his wife and newborn were in the house. “Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel,” he wrote, adding that they “screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door.”

Congress Approves Rules Regulating Jan. 6 Electoral Vote Count: Epoch Times

The certificates and papers will be opened, presented, and acted upon in alphabetical order, starting with Alabama. This is when dozens of Republicans—at least 50 representatives and 12 senators, according to an Epoch Times tally—are planning to object to some certificates, alleging election irregularities including voter fraud and failure to follow state election laws. …That will trigger a withdrawal from the joint session and a two-hour debate followed by votes in each chamber. Only with a majority vote from both the House and the Senate would a challenge be upheld, which even supporters find unlikely, considering that Democrats, who control the House, and Senate Republican leadership, including McConnell, have expressed disapproval of the plan to object.

Rally and Car Parade to Support Trump Held in Toronto: Epoch Times

Hundreds of supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump drove through the streets of Toronto in a large car parade and rally to protest against allegations of fraud during the 2020 U.S. presidential election. The event was organized by a group called Factual Canada. The group has planned second rally and car parade for Wednesday, Jan. 6. One of the organizers, who introduced himself as Mr. Zhang, told The Epoch Times that roughly 200 cars showed up for the event. Based on the online registration for the car parade, 60 were Chinese residents and others came from the Iranian, Vietnamese, and Tibetan communities.

Campaign Aide: Jon Ossoff Keeps Progressive Values ‘Low Key’ to Sway Georgia ‘Rednecks:’ Epoch Times

As voters head to polls on Tuesday in the Georgia Senate runoff elections, there has been renewed interest on social media in an October video recording by Project Veritas showing a campaign aide for Jon Ossoff, a Democrat contender for one of the Senate seats, saying that Ossoff keeps his progressive values “low key” to sway Georgia “rednecks.” In the undercover video, originally posted on Oct. 26, field organizer for the Ossoff campaign Dino Nguyen says that Ossoff “is not going to win the election as a progressive, and that’s basically it. …He added that the reason Ossoff keeps his progressive views under wraps in Georgia is “because the people here are not open-minded.”
