Machen’s words are from Isaiah 44 about the folly of idolatry and are powerfully stated; those words describe a larger portion of the church today. PUNTA GORDA, Fla.–As students are arriving on college campuses across the state, so are “deadly drugs,” according to Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody. A “lesser known” synthetic drug called eutylone is “claiming an alarming number of lives in Florida,” she said. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than half of overdose deaths in Florida are attributed to eutylone….. For instance, Moody estimates that billions of people ranging in age from 10 to 34 use the big four social media sites, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat. Organization for Social Media Safety, Marc Berkman told reporters in September 2021 that his nonprofit ran an “informal test” and found they were able to “connect with a drug dealer on multiple social media sites in under three minutes.”

The Craftsmen Who Built Ark Encounters

There are two very short videos in this post, the first is by the founder of Sermon Audio, Steven Lee; the second, from the Ark Encounters YouTube site.
Mr. Lee filmed a 2-minute video of the Ark Encounter during his recent visit. He then spent a couple of minutes talking about the craftspeople that the Lord provided for fashioning the Ark and for recent updates at Sermon Audio. If you have read about the creation of the Tabernacle and / or Solomon’s temple, then you will have noted that the Lord’s provided expert craftsmen for the various types of work that had to be completed.

“Specifically, the bill repeals and replaces provisions that define, for purposes of federal law, marriage as between a man and a woman and spouse as a person of the opposite sex with provisions that recognize any marriage that is valid under state law,” reads the bill’s summary on Congress’s website. “The bill also repeals and replaces provisions that do not require states to recognize same-sex marriages from other states with provisions that prohibit the denial of full faith and credit or any right or claim relating to out-of-state marriages on the basis of sex, race, ethnicity, or national origin,” the bill’s summary continued. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) introduced the bill on July 18. …Nadler takes the position that same-sex marriage is a “fundamental right” that was targeted by the Supreme Court.
