False Christian teachings, trends….
This, the first of the father’s lectures, introduces us to some of the crucial distinctions between wisdom and folly. Wisdom comes to us in the form of teaching and instruction, and so it may not look particularly appealing. However, it yields a harvest of social honour and moral beauty. Folly, contrastingly, looks enticing but in the end yields destruction. This is the boomerang effect of folly: when we act foolishly, in the end we hurt ourselves. Fools lie in wait for their own blood.
Today, he emphasized two very common problems: compromise, in his morning thoughts; and calling in his evening thoughts. Since he was such an excellent biblical preacher, his words are very worth considering. As I read his morning thoughts, I thought of how the church is compromising with the CRT and LGBTQ movements; and of how liberalism has been an issue for over a hundred years, Spurgeon himself fought against it in his writings. I knew little of Ai and found the video informative and relevant for Christian viewing, as this is a rapidly changing world and we are becoming targets of the people running this mad society. Despite that, we need to be sufficiently knowledgeable of important events and think about how to witness Christ in the unfolding of those. This video offers some encouragement for doing that.

The second is its value against the other currencies it can buy. These are too often conflated. It is massively important to take this into account because otherwise the headline news can be extremely confusing. When reporters go on about the strong dollar, they are referring to its value against other currencies…. You might have thought you were getting a great gift when the government started dropping thousands of dollars into your bank account. It was a head fake for the ages, a clear example of the government’s using clever tricks to get your support for its own plot against your well-being….
