Millions of Christians Not Planning to Vote – American Faith

This post contains an article from American Faith: Millions of Christians in the United States have indicated that they will not vote in the upcoming presidential election, according to a study released by the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University. Many of the people interviewed for the study (79%) identify as “people of faith,” meaning they consider themselves part of the Christian, Jewish, Mormon, or Islamic faiths. Only slightly more than one-half (51%) of this demographic said they are likely to vote in the upcoming presidential election…. [If you know any such Christians as are described in this post, please encourage them to vote, as not doing so could ensure that we become a communist nation very soon.]

FEMA Money exhausted on Illegals? None left for Hurricane victims?

There are two brief videos in this post about hurricane victims; illegal immigrants and FEMA funds. The first video, 6 minutes, uses news clips to show hurricane devastation and to explain how the Biden Harris administration has spent billions of FEMA money on illegals and offers hurricane victims $750. The second video shows the lush housing being provided to freely to illegals in northeastern USA states. Illegals apparently will have to begin to pay rent and utilities after 2 years. PURPOSE OF POST: Voters have experienced 4 years of Trump and almost 4 years of Biden Harris, as you vote, remember how the country was doing under each. Don’t listen to their words. Remember their actions, especially in terms of the impact those actions had on your family.

Redemption: The Eternal Plan of God – Martyn Lloyd-Jones [Part 2]

The sermon of this post is by Martyn Lloyd-Jones and is the followup sermon to the one just posted, on the covenant of grace in the Old Testament. If you want an improved understanding of the unity of the entire Bible that results from God’s plan of redemption, this sermon and the one last posted in this blog will be of much help to you. MLJ was one of the most biblically-sound pastors of the 20th century, he preaches the Bible like few do these days. The Bible has not changed it is God’s revealed truth for His people….

The Covenant of Grace in the Old Testament – Martyn Lloyd-Jones [Part 1]

This sermon by MLJ clarifies that the Bible is unified by its covenants. Furthermore, the most important covenant is the covenant of grace which was hinted at in Genesis 3:15. It is established fully via the duration of the Bible, in the various other covenants. If you have been under the impression that there are two peoples of God; or that the Old and New Testaments reveal differing ways of salvation…; then this sermon will show you the errors of such thinking that abounds in our society because of the man-made doctrines of dispensationalism.

Pastor Steve Lawson Has Been Removed from Ministry – BTWN News

I sampled several videos about Pastor Lawson’s removal from Ministry. Of those videos, the following one presented the event with respect and rationality. He defined several words and helped me to have a better understanding of the facts that Lawson’s church had released.  As I listened to BTWN New’s presentation, I noticed that I had jumped to conclusions at the news. You might discover some of that in your own interpretation?

WE WILL NOT BOW – John MacArthur

In 2015, the Supreme Court foisted a great injustice on the American people: the legalization of homosexual marriage. The result has been a head-on collision of biblical truth and social norms. In the eyes of the world, telling the truth about homosexuality is officially hateful and bigoted. It may even come with legal consequences. Some Christians responded by bending to the culture’s pressure campaign and softening their views on homosexuality in the name of tolerance. …True believers do not have the liberty to withhold biblical truth because it has become unpopular.

Following the Light of the World  –  Things Unseen with Sinclair B. Ferguson

Until we come to saving faith in Christ, we remain lost in the darkness of sin and condemnation. Today, Sinclair Ferguson reflects on the verses of Scripture that were instrumental in opening his eyes to the light of the world. [Ferguson talks about personal realizations that every born-again Christian experiences during his / her pilgrimage; these are worked in us by the Spirit via the word.]
