Pastor Mike Stone of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Blackshear, Georgia, believes that it is time to address pressing issues in the largest protestant denomination in the world: The Southern Baptist Convention. In this wide-ranging discussion, Pastor Stone and Sovereign Nations Founder Michael O’Fallon begin by reviewing the Southern Baptist Convention’s 2019 passage of Resolution 9. By contrasting the strategic use of Critical Race Theory and Intersectionality in nearly every facet of our society, they explain how these “analytical tools” are applied in practice and how they have undermined the great commission mandate of the SBC.

Allie Beth Stuckey, Relatable podcast topics: Dr. J. MacArthur’s comments on religious liberty; Beth Moore Leaving SBC; IF Gathering
Allie Beth Stuckey podcast: [from YouTube site] first, we discuss recent comments made by John MacArthur about religious freedom. Is it right to fight for the religious liberty of those who hate you? Then, we briefly address Beth Moore leaving the Southern Baptist Convention. She’s been a controversial figure in the SBC for some time, and it seems they will be parting ways. And, it was disappointing to see elements of critical race theory and other aspects of leftist social justice creeping into IF Gathering, a conference for Christian women.
DISCERNMENT: Examples of Man-Centered Preaching And God-Centered Preaching Via Rick Warren & Paul Washer
This post shows a picture of man-centered and God-centered preaching, using two well known preachers: Rick Warren and Paul Washer. A linked video shows how they each addressed a conference of young preachers, providing guidance and encouragement. If you view 15 minutes of the 90 minute video, you will begin to get a sense of the definitions of these two very different styles of preaching which could also be labeled – unbiblical vs biblical; or progressive vs reformed; or possibly modern vs orthodox. Warren typifies modern evangelicalism; Washer typifies reformed evangelicalism (“reformed” derives from the Protestant Reformers, Luther, Calvin…).
How Do I Know I Am Truly A Christian When I Constantly Struggle With Sin? Dr. Stephen J Nichols
In the Christian’s struggle with sin, they may sometimes wonder whether they truly are born again; actually, it is possible to frequently wonder if one is really born again. Dr. Stephen Nichols provided a biblical answer to that question which was asked by someone at #AskLigonier. I found his answer to be very encouraging and insightful, as he redirected hearers to the only foundation of faith; and clearly cited the reason for fluctuations in assurance
Word of Faith Fellowship Spindale NC, And Similar False Ministries, Part 1 of 2
This post discusses the Word of Faith Fellowship in Spindale NC and several other ministries that diverge from the Bible in similar ways. You Shall Not Murder; Deuteronomy 5:17: Dr. Patrick Ramsey
Dr. Ramsey titled his sermon, ‘Life,’ therein he answers two questions as he explains God’s 6th commandment from Deuteronomy 5: What does this command require of us? What does it not require of us? In the process of answering those questions, he traces the ramifications of God’s 6th command into the mundane affairs of our daily lives.
If you are interested in being able to more fully examine you own relationships with your Creator and with other human beings, then this sermon has some instructions for you.

‘The fervent prayer of the righteous’ By Stephen Stone of Renew America
It’s not enough to rely on political action alone in so important a cause, vital as such action may be. It’s also not enough to rely on the exemplary, skilled efforts of standout patriots among us. Nor is it enough to depend on the prayers or religious efforts of others. If our country is to survive, God requires our own individual faithfulness — as shown by our righteous life, the sincerity of our supplications for deliverance, our commitment to overcome — through Him — our lapses and weaknesses, and above all, our submission to His will, no matter the outcome, as we seek to supplant evil with good, as He defines such things scripturally.
