The 2-minute video of this post, is about God’s sovereignty and our responsibility in prayer. He is our Father and wants to ‘catch us up into His purposes’ via prayer, according to Dr. Sinclair Ferguson.

Israel and the Church – Part 3 – the Land
This post contains Pastor Ramsey’s third sermon on Israel and the Church, the ‘land.’ His purpose in preaching this mini-series was to help Christians think biblically about Old Testament Israel, the church and the modern state of Israel. Much confusion prevails about these because of the widespread acceptance of the ‘dispensationalism,’ which he addressed in the first sermon. He concluded that the land of Canaan, Palestine, in the middle east is no longer holy, no longer religiously significant at all….
Israel and the Church, Part 2, The Temple
This post contains Pastor Ramsey’s sermon on the temple; it is part two of a three-part series on Israel and the Church. Scriptures from the Old and New Testaments were used to explain God’s covenantal goals and purposes; the role of the temple is explained in terms of how it facilitated the accomplishment of God’s goals. Furthermore, the real temple is identified via many scriptures. It is not what the dispensationalists have taught; or what the typical prophecy buff anticipates.
Three Reformed Views on Romans 11:26 And in this way all Israel will be saved….[Eschatology and Salvation Part 9]
This post contains 2 videos: the first 10-minute video excerpt is from the YouTube site: Reformed Forum. Romans 11:26 And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob” [there is a link to other posts on this topic from them]; the second is 18-minutes in length, by Pastor Matthew Everhard on the 4 millennial views.
Israel and the Church
Pastor Ramsey is preaching about Israel and the church to help people think biblically (covenant theology) about modern Israel and the church. He is not addressing current problems in the holy land. This sermon is part one of three, he titled it ‘Israel.’ The next sermons will be, ‘the temple,’ and ‘the land.’ Highlight points are provided and a link to Pastor Ramsey’s Sermon Audio site.
Eschatology: Israel and the Church – R C Sproul
The two very short excerpts below discuss a Reformed Christian view of end times opposed to the Dispensational views that are seemingly part of Christian social views on the faith [views floating around in the social realm that go largely unexamined]. The title of the first video at Ligonier: What view did Calvin and other Reformers take on eschatology? Title of second video at Ligonier: How does Reformed theology understand the future of Israel? And how does this view compare to the theology of dispensationalism? [Portions of Galatians 3 and Romans 4 are pasted in below videos]
