This idea of a scientific consensus is, of course, the diametric opposite of what scientific inquiry is all about. It is completely ahistorical. History’s greatest minds and inventors were people who challenged the conventional wisdom of the day. It’s an updated version of the Flat Earth Societies in the Middle Ages that would imprison those who dared question the scientific consensus of the time…. The irony of the modern-day inquisitionists is that they are the very people who were the doomsayers of the 1970s who have been so consistently wrong about the future. They were the ones who said the Earth was cooling and that we were headed into another Ice Age. They were the ones who said we were running out of energy, food and farmland….

In Idaho, a “drag kids” show with performers as young as 11 was postponed Sunday at the Boise Pride Festival in Idaho after the state GOP called on constituents to pressure event sponsors to withdraw support…. The Idaho GOP was able to mobilize hundreds of people to delay the “drag kids” event. When the Idaho GOP and its chair Dorothy Moon got wind of a drag show to be performed by 11- to 18-year-olds, the organization launched a series of press releases Sept. 7-8, saying the Left was using a taxpayer-funded event to “sexualize children.”

The video in this post is about the restorative justice policies that will take effect in the state of Illinois, January of 2023. The list of crimes on the title page are some of those for which an actor will not be detained. That makes it pretty clear that this democrat policy will NOT contribute to justice, law and order, or safety in any community in Illinois. A friend texted me a link to this post this morning, I am posting it to warn voters not to vote democrat, because if you do, these policies will eventually come to a neighborhood near you. Oh, by the way, stricter scrutiny will be exercised over how Illinois residents defend themselves and their property from the criminals that will be at large. We all know how California’s new limits on grand larceny (not grand larceny under $900) contributed to the welfare of San Franciscans, and to businesses there.
