AGENDA Weekly Brief

Week of August 12-18

Dear Friends,

Martin Lloyd-Jones said, “The first thing that is true about the Christian is that he does not belong to this world. In the light of this, it is vital that we should ask ourselves the question, ‘Am I of the world or not?’ That is the fundamental distinction that runs through the Bible from the beginning to end. There are only two groups of people in the world today: those who are of the world and those who belong to Christ.”

1. MARXIST GEORGIA DA HANDS DOWN 4TH TRUMP INDICTMENT: Days after AG Merrick Garland appointed a special counsel in the Hunter Biden case, Fulton County prosecutor Fani Willis (whose father was a Black Pantherreleased the fourth indictment of President Donald Trump. The 13 charges were accidentally posted to the Fulton County website before the grand jury’s indictment vote. The charges included violation of the state’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, and listed 18 co-defendants and 30 “unindicted co-conspirators,” mostly Trump attorneys.

Attorney Robert Barnes tweeted, “The Georgia Indictment is the most insane yet, by the looniest prosecutor yet. It claims tweets are conspiracies, legal advice is a crime, Constitutional law is a criminal act, and demanding officials do their job is criminal solicitation. It is an embarrassment to the state of Georgia.”

Ed. Note: For a detailed breakdown of the case, read Destruction of Rule of Law in Fani Willis’ Georgia Star Chamber by Attorney Hans von Spoakovsky.

2. MUCH OF GOP STILL MISSING IN ACTION: Rather than using his power as Governor to push back against the charges or to seek to remove Willis from her post, Georgia Republican Governor Brian Kemp claimed, “The 2020 election in Georgia was not stolen.” Thankfully, Republican state Senator Colton Moore (also the vice-chair of the Georgia Freedom Caucus) has publicly called on Governor Kemp to convene “an emergency session to review the actions of Fani Willis.”

The Federalist reports that House Republicans “have the power to do more than put out statements if they wanted to. The weaponized FBI could be defunded, for starters — but instead, the agency remains on track to get a shiny new headquarters.” Charlie Kirk writes, “Those Republicans who are silent now are throwing American voters to the wolves. Without a defense against a corrupt regime that has no problems imprisoning its political enemies and those it deems guilty of wrongthink, Americans and the founding principles that inspire and invigorate them will be long gone.”

3. THE UNSTATED PURPOSE BEHIND THE INDICTMENTS: Historian and classicist Victor Davis Hanson noted, “They’re setting a precedent with these indictments in Georgia & by Jack Smith that you can’t challenge or you can’t object to the ballot count because if you do, you’re into a conspiratorial racketeering mode.” Another purpose is to drain Trump financially, bankrupt former Trump attorneys who are now being prosecuted, and scare conservative legal figures away from ever helping Trump in the future.

Professor James Lindsay believes the indictments are designed to create another January 6 situation and provoke conservatives into overreacting, thereby justifying another crackdown. John Daniel Davidson writes, “The strategy is to demonstrate power and thereby humiliate and discourage Trump supporters by showing them how powerless they are… Just look what they’re doing to Trump, a former president. If they can do that to him, imagine what they can do to you.”

4. HOW BAD WAS THE 2020 ELECTION FRAUD? Attorney Robert Barnes, who helped prepare Trump’s 2020 legal contest in Georgia, says that “constitutionally unqualified ballots” exceeded Biden’s margin of victory by “more than 10 times. Unlawfully, Fulton County courts blocked the case from ever being heard.” Barnes also notes, “Whose Georgia ballots were illegally included in 2020? Ballots from dead people, kids, people who moved, people who voted twice, people claiming to live in post office boxes, from ballots whose signatures didn’t match, and counted illegally in secret.” See here for more on the 2020 Georgia vote fraud.

5. WILL STACY ABRAMS AND ALAN DERSHOWITZ GO TO JAIL? Breitbart reports, “Twice-failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate and national Democrat celebrity Stacey Abrams is still free as of Monday, despite having maintained for years that her 2018 race was stolen — a claim for which former President Donald Trump has been indicted.” Attorney Alan Dershowitz says, “Al Gore, his legal team, and I tried to find uncounted presidential votes, lobbied officials, and fought in the courts in 2000. The only difference now? The candidate’s name is Donald Trump… That’s why this prosecution is an outrage.”

6. SENATOR JOHNSON CALLS OUT ELITES BEHIND COVID-19: In a recent interview, Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) said that Covid-19 was pre-planned “by an elite group of people.” Johnson noted, “Event 201 occurred in late 2019, prior to the rest of us knowing about this pandemic…this is very concerning in terms of what has happened, what is happening, what continues to be planned for our loss of freedom.”

Johnson continued, “It needs to be exposed. But unfortunately, there are very few people, even in Congress, that are willing to take a look at this. They all push the vaccine. They don’t want to be made aware of the fact that the vaccines might have caused injuries, might have caused death. So many people just simply don’t want to admit they were wrong, and they’re going to do everything they can to make sure that they’re not proven wrong. We’re up against a very powerful group of people here.”

7. WHY ARE SO MANY YOUNG PEOPLE DYING? Dr. Pierre Kory and journalist Mary Beth Pfeiffer wrote an op-ed for USA Today titled, “More young Americans are dying – and it’s not COVID. Why aren’t we searching for answers?” Kory and Pfeiffer wrote, “Deaths among young Americans documented in employee life insurance claims should alone set off alarms. Among working people 35 to 44 years old, a stunning 34% more died than expected in the last quarter of 2022, with above-average rates in other working-age groups, too.”

Kory said the op-ed “would never have been published” if they had mentioned vaccines, but he hoped to at least get people to ask the question. Kory told The Defender, “We can talk about the elephant in the room, which is in the third quarter of 2021. September is when you started to see universities, corporations, companies, and the federal government mandate the COVID-19 vaccine. In my opinion, there is only one explanation for the excess deaths. It was the proliferation of mandates to get young people vaccinated. I can’t think of anything else temporally associated with these rises than the proliferation of vaccines.”

8. IMPORTANT QUESTIONS ABOUT HAWAII’S “WILDFIRES”: Last week, the city of Lahaina on Hawaii’s Maui island was devastated by fire. Tragically, the death toll is 111 and rising, with at least 1,000 people missing.

Ed. Note: For more, see this week’s AGENDA Weekly Behind the Scenes video.

9. 15-MINUTE CITIES COME TO LONDON AND PHOENIX: Residential neighborhoods in London are installing cameras as part of leftist Islamic mayor Sadiq Khan’s plan to charge drivers every time they drive. Furious citizens are striking back by destroying many of these cameras. Phoenix, Arizona, has rolled out the first “car-free neighborhood,” called Culdesac Tempe. Over 600 people are on the waitlist for apartments in the new community. The New York Times called this project “A pedestrian oasis.” Bloomberg praised it as “Walkable, car-free living.”

David Bowen writes, “What we are seeing in Tempe is the beginning of the fulfillment of Agenda 2030 and its sustainable development plan. In 2015, the United Nations announced a set of 17 sustainable goals. Their plan was to reach these goals by 2030, which gave them 15 years to accomplish their goal. By 2021, they realized they were falling behind in the implementation of their goals, so in order to reach them by their 2030 target date, they publicly said they had to rachet up their efforts.”

Ed. Note: For more, read How Smart Cities Will Lock Up Humanity.

10. WHY HAS AMERICA’S BIRTHRATE FALLEN? The Wall Street Journal reports, “The U.S. birthrate is down sharply from 15 years ago, causing economists to worry about the long-term implications of a shrinking population. Why are American women having fewer children than they say they want?”

Christian podcaster Allie Beth Stuckey responded, “This has little to do with economics or politics. It has mostly to do with values. Women (and men) have imbibed the messages of self-fulfillment: ‘You do you,’ ‘Do what makes you happy.’ Avoid sacrifice, inconvenience, discomfort, and difficulty. Make money, chase your dreams, travel, love yourself,  freeze your eggs and your face. Marriage is restrictive; kids are a burden. While they may cite the precariousness of their finances or the unknowns of the future, at the end of the day, for the people deliberately choosing the commitment-less life, their decision is based not on practicality, but priorities.”

11. MERRICK GARLAND APPOINTS SPECIAL COUNSEL IN HUNTER BIDEN CASE: In an effort to appear impartial and to stymy Congressional investigation, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed Delaware U.S. attorney David Weiss as special counsel in the Hunter Biden case. Weiss was the one who initially set up the phony “sweetheart” deal for Hunter and has worked behind the scenes to cover evidence of Biden family corruption. Also, Federal Regulations require a special counsel to be “selected from outside the United States Government,” making the appointment of Weiss, a DOJ employee, illegal.

Charlie Kirk advises, “House Republicans should now feel 100% emboldened to impeach Garland, defund him, or stop him however they can. The gloves should now, finally, be all the way off.”

12. REGIME TARGETS J6 JOURNALIST: The Epoch Times reports, “Independent journalist Steve Baker says he was served a subpoena signed by Assistant U.S. Attorney Anita Eve, demanding all of the video he shot at and near the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. He said the subpoena likely means the DOJ is investigating him for alleged felony crimes.” The subpoena comes just as Baker is set to drop a bombshell story on January 6 for Blaze media. Baker said, “They want to silence me.”

Mainstream media have simply ignored the story. Diana West comments, “Far worse than overall media silence is that of the GOP House, which continues to fund what I can only describe as the DOJ/FBI/Judiciary gang-rape of due process as it relates to J6. This makes the GOP an accessory after the fact. Oh, and by the way, the reason Steve Baker’s story hasn’t come out yet is because Speaker McCarthy has put a ‘pause’ on access to the J6 footage, which Baker needs to revisit in order to double-check some things before publication.”

Ed. Note: Thomas Jefferson said, “Our liberty depends on the freedom of the press, and that cannot be limited without being lost.”

13. APPLE CENSORS GLENN BECK, YOUTUBE CENSORS MORE “MEDICAL MISINFORMATION”: Conservative commentator Glenn Beck said that Apple removed his 3,000+ episodes, saying they had “found an issue with [his show]…which must be resolved before it’s available on Apple Podcasts.” Senators Mike Lee (R-UT) and J.D. Vance (R-OH) both spoke out in defense of Beck, with Vance saying, “This looks an awful lot like a major American corporation engaging in election interference.” The removal came right before Beck was scheduled to release an episode on the Biden crime family. Beck said that Apple has now restored all episodes.

In related news, YouTube has updated its medical misinformation policy to delete content that contradicts the World Health Organization’s official stance on vaccines, Covid-19, and cancer treatments.

14. GOP CONGRESSMAN ATTACKS PRO-LIFE ACTIVIST FOR SHARING THE GOSPEL: Lizzie Marbach, Communications Director for Ohio Right to Life, tweeted, “There’s no hope for any of us outside of having faith in Jesus Christ alone.” Freshman Jewish Rep. Max Miller (R-Ohio) responded with this tweet, “God says the Jewish people are the chosen ones, but you say we have no hope. Thanks for your pearl of wisdom today.” In a retweet of Marbach’s original post, Miller added, “This is one of the most bigoted tweets I have ever seen. Delete it, Lizzie. Religious freedom in the United States applies to every religion. You have gone too far.” Ironically, Squad member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) came to Marbach’s defense, writing, “No! Stating the core beliefs or principles of your faith isn’t bigoted as Lizzie did; it’s religious freedom, and no one should be scolded for that…”

Sadly, the Ohio Right to Life responded by firing Marbach over her tweets, including a previous tweet in which she called a pro-abortion activist a “murderous liar.”

FAITH, FAMILY, & FREEDOM REPORT

1. ARGENTINA CONSERVATIVES WIN GIANT VICTORY: Javier Milei and the conservative La Libertad Avanza (Liberty Advances) Party won a massive victory in the Argentinian primary election, taking more than 30% of the popular vote. Milei stated he would stop “the parasitic, corrupt, and useless political caste that exists in this country. Today we took the first step toward the reconstruction of Argentina… A different Argentina is impossible with the same people as always.”

2. REPRESENTATIVE TRIES TO DEFUND JACK SMITH: U.S. Representative Andy Ogles (R-TN) introduced a bill that would keep special counsel Jack Smith from receiving federal money, stating, “The Biden Administration’s weaponization of the DOJ for personal political gain through the appointment of Jack Smith is nothing short of appalling.” The bill was co-sponsored by Congressmen Alex Mooney (R-WV) and Eli Crane (R-AZ).

3. AUSTRIAN LEADER WANTS TO SAFEGUARD CASH: Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer proposed giving citizens the right to use cash in his country’s constitution, stating, “More and more people are concerned that cash could be restricted as a means of payment in Austria. Everyone should have the opportunity to decide freely how and with what he wants to pay.”

4. ENES FREEDOM STANDS FOR WOMEN’S SPORTS: Former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom stood up for women’s sports and mocked transgender ideology, tweeting, “Since I’m blackballed from the @NBA, should I put on a wig, identify as a woman and start dominating the @WNBA? Is that when the outrage will begin? Is that fair to all the women who spent their whole life chasing their goals? Where are all the women rights activists and feminists?!”

5. TOP JOURNALIST STANDS AGAINST TRANSGENDERISM: Scottish Journalist Andrew Neil spoke out against transgender surgeries and ideology, stating, “These injustices happened under my nose. Either I took no notice, or didn’t think it was my fight – when it should be everybody’s fight. Of course, journalists like me were not entirely unaware of transgender controversies. We watched, shaking our heads, as men who had transitioned to women started winning events in women’s sports.”

6. MOST CANADIAN FIRES NOT A RESULT OF CLIMATE CHANGE: When asked about the origins of Canadian wildfires, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith responded, “All I know is in my province, we have 650 fires, and 500 of them were human-caused. Wildfire season happens every single year…and we have to make sure that…we educate the public about the role that they play in causing those fires.”

7. SCIENTISTS SAY THERE IS NO CLIMATE EMERGENCY: A declaration signed by numerous scientists stating there is no climate emergency has garnered more signatures, including one from Nobel Prize winner John Clauser. The declaration states, “Climate science has degenerated into a discussion based on beliefs, not on sound self-critical science. Should not we free ourselves from the naive belief in immature climate models?”

8. NORTH CAROLINA AND NEBRASKA PROTECTS KIDS: The North Carolina Legislature overturned the vetoes of Governor Roy Cooper (D) and protected kids from transgender mutilation, unfair competition in sports, and gender discussions in kindergarten through fourth grade.

District Court Judge Lori Maret ruled that Nebraska’s Legislative Bill 574 was constitutional, making it law. The bill protects children from transgender surgeries and drugs, while also protecting unborn life in some cases. Governor Jim Pillen (R) declared, “I was proud to sign into law a measure that protects kids and defends the unborn, and I am pleased that it has been upheld.”

9. INDIANS WANT REDSKINS BACK: The Native American Guardians Association (NAGA) called for talks with the Washington Commanders’ management, formerly known as the Washington Redskins. A letter to the organization stated they “Attempted to have an open dialogue with the now Washington Commanders since they made the name change several years ago with no response… We felt that it was time to apply public pressure.” The group threatened to boycott the team if they were not heard.

10. ECOHEALTH ALLIANCE SUED: Families of Covid victims sued EcoHealth Alliance, alleging they “intentionally or accidentally” released the virus to the public. Attorney Patricia Finn, who represents the families, stated, “If we had known the source or origin of this virus and had not been misled that it was from a pangolin in a wet market, and rather we knew that it was a genetically manipulated virus, the outcome could have been very different.” The lawsuit states Eco Health President Peter Daszak knew Covid was “capable of causing a worldwide pandemic.”

11. SCHOOL BOARD PRESIDENT FIGHTS CALIFORNIA AG: Sonja Shaw, President of the Chino Valley Unified School District, required teachers to tell parents if their kids started identifying as transgender. Shaw received death threats, and her school district is now being investigated by California AG Rob Bonta, but she continues to defend what is right, stating, “This is a ploy to try to scare all the other boards across California from adopting the policy. I won’t back down and will stand in the gap to protect our kids from big government bullies.”

12. BIBLE DISTRIBUTION RISES: More Bibles are being given and received around the world, and last year at least 35 million copies of the Bible were distributed or downloaded. Evangelical Focus Europe reports, “The countries with the highest Bible distribution in 2022 were Brazil (4.8 million), the USA (2.6 million), and India (2.5 million).”

13. RICH MEN NORTH OF RICHMOND GOES VIRAL: Country singer/songwriter Oliver Anthony’s song Rich Men North of Richmond topped the iTunes charts and rapidly hit 23 million views on YouTube, launching the singer from obscurity to fame. The song laments the America that once was and describes the pain of the average working American. One phrase in the song says, “These rich men north of Richmond, Lord knows they all just wanna have total control. Wanna know what you think, wanna know what you do, and they don’t think you know, but I know that you do.” Anthony also sings, “I wish politicians would look out for miners and not just minors on an island somewhere.”

In his first live appearance since going viral, Anthony read from Psalm 37, “The wicked plot against the righteous. And gnash their teeth at them, but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming…”

Ed. Note: Warning: the song does contain bad language, so we encourage any who listen to use discretion.

14. “SUPER CENTENARIAN” GIVES GLORY TO THE LORD: Elizabeth Francis became the oldest person in Texas, turning 114. Her granddaughter, Ethel Harrison, shared how her grandmother has lived so long. “She always grew her vegetables in the backyard. I never saw her go to a fast food restaurant…Whenever you went to her house, she was cooking. She took care of her body and things like that.” When asked why she has lived so long, Francis answered, “This is a blessing, the Lord’s blessing.”

15. 101-YEAR-OLD DOCTOR SHARES TIPS FOR A LONG LIFE: Dr. Howard Tucker, a neurologist and practicing doctor, shared some tips on living long. Tucker said, “Keep your mind engaged through work, social and entertainment activities. Volunteering, pursuing a hobby, and learning new skills can provide great mental stimulation. Immersing yourself in a good book, fiction or nonfiction, requires your brain to process a bulk of new information. I believe this is key to keeping your mind sharp.”

HYMN OF THE WEEK

There Is a Green Hill Far Away by Cecil F. Alexander

There is a green hill far away,
Outside a city wall,
Where our dear Lord was crucified,
Who died to save us all.

O dearly, dearly, has He loved,
And we must love Him, too,
And trust in His redeeming blood,
And try His works to do!

We may not know, we cannot tell,
What pains He had to bear,
But we believe it was for us
He hung and suffered there.

O dearly, dearly, has He loved,
And we must love Him, too,
And trust in His redeeming blood,
And try His works to do!

There was no other good enough
To pay the price of sin;
He only could unlock the gate
Of heaven and let us in.

O dearly, dearly has He loved,
And we must love Him, too,
And trust in His redeeming blood,
And try His works to do!
