She had called it “cheating.” Navratilova was forced to issue a lengthy apology. Syndicated columnist Dennis Prager has pointed out that after Thomas broke women’s swimming records in Akron, the biological women who had won those records fairly and squarely “no longer hold them.” Stripping women’s sports titles from them isn’t just an injustice. It’s an erasure of women from the very institutions that were created to recognize their own genuine athletic achievements.

School Board ‘Shenanigans’ Inspire Greater Interest Among Parents to Vote in Midterm Elections – Epoch Times

According to Clay Travis on Dec. 22’s Clay Travis-Buck Sexton Radio Show, the blue states are hemorrhaging people. From the transcript: “And they came out with the data on, the Census data for 2021, and—this is interesting—New York was the number one state to lose population. Around 320,000 New Yorkers bailed on the state. California was the second biggest loser, around us 250K or so, followed by Illinois. “When you add in others like Michigan, about a million have departed blue states in 2021.”

Supreme Court Asks Biden Administration to Respond to Flurry of Challenges to OSHA Mandate – Epoch Times

President Joe Biden’s administration was directed on Monday to reply to a flurry of fresh challenges to its private employer COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, a Trump nominee, told administration officials to file responses to applications from faith groups, companies, and attorneys general from over half the states in the country by 4 p.m. on Dec. 30. That’s just days before the mandate’s deadline. “This case is finally where it belongs: the Supreme Court. OSHA has threatened to start punishing employers like our clients starting on January 10, and we’re grateful the court has ordered a briefing schedule that will allow for resolution of our petition before that deadline,” Daniel Suhr, managing attorney at the Liberty Justice Center, told The Epoch Times in an email.

Conversion is not putting a man in an armchair and taking him easily to heaven. It is the beginning of a mighty conflict in which it costs much to win the victory. Therefore arises the unspeakable importance of counting the cost…. It will cost him his self-righteousness. He must cast away all pride and prideful thoughts and any conceit of his own goodness. He must be content to go to heaven as a poor sinner saved only by free grace, owing all to the merit and righteousness of another. He must really feel the words of the prayer book that he has “erred and gone astray like a lost sheep,” that he has “left undone the things he ought to have done, and done the things he ought not to have done, and that there is no health in him.” He must be willing to give up all trust in his own morality, respectability, praying, Bible reading, church-going, and sacraments, and he must trust in nothing but Jesus Christ.
