Budd Amendment Would Strip 1,474 Earmarks Worth $5.6 Billion from House Infrastructure Bill: Epoch Times

Rep. Ted Budd (R-N.C.) introduced an amendment to House Democrats’ “INVEST in America Surface Transportation and Infrastructure Act” that would strip out $5.6 billion worth of earmarks sought by members of both political parties. “Taxpayers across the country are getting their first look at what Washington is like in the new earmark era. It’s not a pretty sight. This transportation spending bill includes 1,474 examples of the Washington Swamp saying they know best when it comes to spending taxpayer dollars,” Budd said in a statement announcing his amendment. …Coburn, whose Senate nickname was “Senator No” because he was such a renowned opponent of waste, fraud, and corruption in federal spending, exposed the $223 million earmark known as the “Bridge to Nowhere,” which would connect Alaska’s Ketchikan, a town of 8,900 residents, with the island of Gravina. The island, which has an airport, had 50 residents at the time.

Critical Race Theory Is on the March—and a Winning Issue for Conservatives, Newt Gingrich: Epoch Times

Critical race theory (CRT) is now center stage in the culture war between left and right, emerging in recent months as one of the nation’s most contentious issues. On the surface, it may seem progressives are winning as CRT infects schools across America, but the fight against this racist indoctrination is really a winning issue for conservatives. …The media portrays CRT as a serious academic field confined to law schools. MSNBC guest host Zerlina Maxwell, for example, said last week that CRT “refers to the study of structural racism and it’s not taught until college or graduate school, law school. It’s a law school class, everybody …. So, let’s start by making it completely crystal clear at the top of this interview, that critical race theory is not taught before law school.” …It’s telling how adamant the Left is about CRT only being taught in law school. Evidently, they know how bad it would look for CRT to be taught to younger kids. Which of course is happening across the county. …Parents don’t want their children learning CRT—and are increasingly willing to say so publicly.

CCP at 100 Years: A Century of Killing and Deceit: Epoch Times

Editor’s Note: Some of the accounts in this article contain graphic and disturbing details of torture and other forms of degrading treatment. Founded in July 1921, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has wreaked death and destruction on the Chinese populace for a century. Armed with the Marxist ideology of “struggle” as its guiding principle, the CCP has launched scores of movements targeting a long list of enemy groups: spies, landlords, intellectuals, disloyal officials, pro-democracy students, religious believers, and ethnic minorities.

542 Percent Increase in Convicted Sex Offenders Arrested at Border: Epoch Times

Once a relatively quiet region for illegal border crossings, the Del Rio Sector in Texas is now the second busiest, after the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas.
“We’ve seen a tremendous increase. So far this year, this fiscal year, today, we’ve caught 144,000 people in the Del Rio sector,” said sector chief Austin Skero on June 24. “We’ve gone through this before—we’ve seen these increases, these surges, for the last 30 or 40 years. It’s never been this bad. I’ll tell you that straight up, I’ve never seen it this bad.” Skero said the sector has seen a 1,400 percent increase in the number of sex offenders arrested by Border Patrol agents. …“I have four daughters—does it concern me when you say there’s a 1,400 percent increase in sex offenders? Yes, it concerns me,” the resident said during a border update on June 24. …Abbott and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey also issued a call for help to other governors on June 10.

A Tsunami of Crises About to Swamp Biden Administration: Epoch Times

[This post is about the border crisis, inflation and crime; it closes with possible fixes] …As Vice President Harris checked the box by going to El Paso, 800 miles away from the more agitated areas of illegal southern entry last week, she repeated the mantra that this administration inherited a mess. The polls are unanimous in indicating that the public realizes they did not inherit a mess; they inherited the almost complete end of illegal immigration and they squandered it instantly and jubilantly by effectively inviting the world to enter while having the hapless Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas repeat like a Disney World self-propelled puppet “The border is closed.” …Even more urgent than the surging immigration and imminent inflation crises is the entirely predictable and much predicted crime wave. Violent crime is up everywhere and especially in Democratic-governed cities that cravenly bowed to the outrageous demands in the “peaceful protests” of last summer that injured 2000 police personnel, killed approximately 50 people, and caused over $2 billion of property damage.

May Someone Who Claims To Believe In God Support BLM?

Question 1. May someone who claims to believe in God support BLM? Q2. May a Christian support BLM? The answer is each case is a firm, no!
Why not?
Marxism is in direct opposition to any belief in God; it is definitely Anti-God, Anti-Christ, anti-family, anti-freedom, anti-property rights…; those are the highpoints. You cannot support a communist organization such as BLM, Freedom Road Socialist Organization; the CCP Progressive Association…and at the same time stand for the opposite (unless you do not understand what Marxism is about, and in that case, you only thought that you could do such a thing, out of your own ignorance about Marxism).

‘Nike Is a Brand That Is of China and for China,’ Company’s CEO Says: Epoch Times

“For far too long, companies like Nike and Apple and Amazon and Coca-Cola were using forced labor. They were benefiting from forced labor or sourcing from suppliers that were suspected of using forced labor,” Rubio said on June 10. “These companies, sadly, were making all of us complicit in these crimes.”
Rights groups, researchers, former residents, and some Western lawmakers say that Xinjiang authorities have facilitated forced labor by arbitrarily detaining around one million Uyghurs and other primarily Muslim minorities in a network of camps since 2016. Sophie Richardson, China director for Human Rights Watch, told the Senate panel that Beijing’s “extreme repression and surveillance” made human rights due diligence impossible for companies.

Watching Men Die, Pastor Rolfe Barnard, Ecclesiastes 12:1-7

Rolfe Barnard’s message is about his time of starting a church in an oil boom town in Texas; therein, after he got a church building…he talked about being the only preacher for 26 months, in a town of 50,000; about conducting at least 3 funerals a day, some days as many as 7; he talked about the horrors of those who were experiencing dying, as the majority of them had lived lives of ill repute.  The last 8-10 minutes of his sermon were extremely vivid, as he clarified the meaning of the word ‘cast’ from the phrase, ‘cast into the lake of fire.’ He used a true story to convey much horror. You don’t want to miss that. If you have time for nothing else, listen to that, as we all need to have as clear an understanding as we can about death so that we might spend our lives rightly.

Party Controlling Executive, Legislative Branches Blames Minority Party For Everything Going Wrong: Babylon Bee

Satire: WASHINGTON, D.C.—A spokesman for the Democrat party announced today that despite his party holding the White House and majorities in both houses of Congress, Republicans are to blame for their failure to pass any meaningful legislation so far this year. “Those pesky Republicans have foiled our plans again,” said Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer. “I mean, sure, we have the majority of the votes, but the Republicans just aren’t playing ball. They’re supposed to vote with us, just like we’ve always voted with them when they were in the majority.”

Texas City Becomes Latest to Ban Abortion, Passes ‘Sanctuary for the Unborn’ Ordinance: Epoch Times

Mark Lee Dickson, the head with Right To Life of East Texas and founder of the Sanctuary Cities for the Unborn initiative, told Life News that the vote is “a victory for the unborn” as well as for women who received abortions when they were younger but regretted it. She cited Levelland resident Kati Morris’s testimony. Morris, who helped lead the effort in Levelland, told Texas Scorecard: “I had an abortion many years ago, 30 miles away in Lubbock, and that abortion devastated my life … Abortion does not help women, it destroys women and takes the life of their children. What community needs that as an option for the people of their community?” …The nearby city of Lubbock approved a similar ordinance on May 1. Planned Parenthood challenged Lubbock’s ordinance in court, which was dismissed by U.S. District Judge James Wesley Hendrix, who argued that Planned Parenthood lacked jurisdiction.
