This post shows a more traditional arrangement of Psalm 1, Composition by Dr. David Erb, of New Saint Andrews College and Christ Church, in Moscow, Idaho. Dr. Erb plays and sings the Psalm during the initial half of the following 4 minute video; the college choir sings during the second half. In case you are not familiar with Reformed Protestant churches, I have to say that their congregations sing from the Book of Psalms for Worship, like the college students in the video

We Must Continually Come To Christ: Pastor James Smith [Devotional Reading]
James Smith was a predecessor of Charles Spurgeon at New Park Street Chapel in London from 1841 until 1850. Early on, Smith’s readings were even more popular than Spurgeon’s! This post is related to the preceding one, Walking in the Spirit; it provides a few insights about how the Spirit works in the born-again believer. …Although I have written about that topic a lot, especially the beatitude posts, I have only scratched the surface. And since contemporary Christianity seemingly understands nothing of the matter, this post is to help believers who seek answers to such questions.
Walking in the Spirit
Pastor Kenneth Stewart of Glasgow RP Church of Scotland preached the following sermon titled, The Need To Triumph. It is about walking in the Spirit.
However, this sermon differs from many on this topic because it gives specifics on sowing-reaping; how to notice your own sowing; what to do about that; how sowing impacts one’s spiritual walk; things one needs engage in to promote a spiritual life that lends itself to walking in the Spirit….

Election Fraud Prosecution at an ‘All-Time High’: Texas Attorney General’s Office: Epoch Times
Last week, the Republican-led Texas state Senate approved legislation that would ban mail-in ballot drop boxes and most drive-thru voting, a measure that Republicans say “ensures election integrity.” Democrats have said it’s voter suppression and makes it harder for people with disabilities and ethnic minorities to vote. The measure, according to state Sen. Bryan Hughes, a Republican, is “designed to address areas through process where bad actors can take advantage because we want the people of Texas to be confident their elections are fair, honest, and open.”
Supreme Court Justice Thomas Suggests Facebook, Twitter Could Be Regulated Like Utilities: Epoch Times
Thomas agreed that Trump’s Twitter account did “resemble a constitutionally protected public forum” in certain aspects, he noted that “it seems rather odd to say that something is a government forum when a private company has unrestricted authority to do away with it,” possibly referring to Twitter’s ban against Trump following the Jan. 6 incident. “Any control Mr. Trump exercised over the account greatly paled in comparison to Twitter’s authority, dictated in its terms of service, to remove the account ‘at any time for any or no reason,’” he added. “Twitter exercised its authority to do exactly that.”
Peter Boghossian on Woke Education: ‘No Other Alternative Than to Defund the System:
Boghossian is best known for co-authoring a series of satirical papers and publishing them in peer-reviewed academic journals to reveal how likely fake research would be accepted as legitimate scholarship, so long as it fit in the woke narrative. This very woke ideology he has sought to expose, according to Boghossian, has taken over the American cultural and academic institutions. “I don’t think this is a right-left issue in terms of who has taken over our institutions,” Boghossian told The Epoch Times’ Jan Jekielek, when asked about a cultural warfare that is reshaping the American politics and society. “Instead of thinking about in terms of right-left, I think it’s best to think about it in terms of woke.”
