The Lie of Witchcraft Today – Good Fight Ministries

The video “short” in this post is from Good Fight Ministries YouTube. They have many shorts featuring actors and actresses; shorts which convey the attitude of our culture regarding anti-Christian trends. I think the actress featured in this short is Hilarie Burton.

I personally studied many forms of eastern religion, philosophy, Spiritism, psychic phenomenon… before, during and after college; then I read through the Bible at age 53 and was converted in the process. Pastor Joe Schimmel stated what I know from my own experience to be true.

The actress is describing eastern religion,  spirituality, philosophy… wherein one may have a divine spark within, wherein one may merge with god.

The God of Christianity is completely separate from His creatures; the Holy Spirit does inhabit the born-again Christian, but He does not become him, or merge with him in essence. He remains God and the creature remains human.

If you read through your Bible, then you would likely experience what I did. It is seemingly common. To cite an example of another person who experienced this, see the link below the video to a post in this blog which gives the conversion testimony of Lesbian English Professor who wrote the following book: The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert. Her name is Rosaria Butterfield. At the time, she was studying the Bible to write against it in favor of her Gay community. She described her conversion as a “train wreck” because it turned her life upside down.
