The Devil and Karl Marx – Dr Paul Kengor [Syncretism Part 2]

This post is part 2 of 2 on Syncretism. In case you did not read part 1, syncretism is the blending of another religion or belief system with the religion of the Bible. The God of the Bible forbids syncretism.

In looking at Marxism from this perspective, it becomes clear that the trendy contemporary movement to incorporate Cultural Marxism into Christianity is wrong for at least two reasons: Marxism is atheistic and looks to the Devil as its mentor; syncretism is wrong and forbidden by God (blending Marxism and Christianity is syncretic).

I have written a lot of posts on Marxism, see CATEGORIES, CRT/CT. In the process, I have stated numerous times that a professed Christian cannot also subscribe to Marxism. That also makes it a contradiction for a Christian to be a leftist democrat, as they look to Marx and his followers for their ideas (those politicians do, if you vote for them, by extension, you do too).

Saul Alinsky, for example (who is briefly discussed in the video of this post) called Lucifer his mentor because he was the first rebel…. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama look to Saul Alinsky for guidance; particularly, his book, Rules for Radicals.

If you listen through the 26-minute video, you will hear the following points about Marx expanded upon:

  • Marx the man: his obsession with the Devil as seen in his poetry and writings [followers; harmful impact on societies of the earth; war…]
  • Marx’s obsession with Mephistopheles, a character that represented the Devil in the works of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
  • Marx chanting the words ascribed to Mephistopheles, particularly: “everything that exists deserves to perish”
  • Marx’ ideology: in his poetry he wrote of pacts with the Devil; death, destruction, the ruthless criticism of everything that exists, especially religion
  • In Communist Manifesto he and Engels called for the forceable overthrow of all existing social conditions
  • He also wrote of suicide pacts with the Devil: his two daughters and their husbands committed suicide; he wrote of it in his poetry [I’m not sure if that was prior to or afterwards]
  • It is clear that the personal life of Marx greatly impacted his public life; ideology; and political life…
  • The hypocrisy of Marx and Engels was great; for example:
  • Marx and Engels 3rd of 10 points in their Communist Manifesto called for the abolition of private property and all rights to inheritance of property  — however, each of them had received an inheritance and subsisted on it; Marx eventually also subsisted on Engels inheritance [blatant hypocrisy, like leftist dems who want to take the inheritances of their citizenry]
  • The abolition of personal property is anti-Christian – it is a God-given right in the Bible to own property [Otherwise, the following command would be meaningless: Exo 20:15  “You shall not steal.]
  • Many college students ask for Paul Kengor to speak on communism / Marxism at their colleges
  • Lots of youth believe that the Marxism that is trendy today is different than that which killed so many millions of people during the 20th century; but it is not [leftist brainwashing in public schools and colleges is likely cause that youth to see Marxism in a favorable light]
  • Many then ask about BLM: Prof Kengor spoke of the ideologies of Patrice Colors and Alicia Garza  and their Marxist training; and her Memoirs [he didn’t get into the fact that she took a huge chunk of the $90 million in donations that BLM received and bought for herself, 4 homes =  blatant hypocrisy, like her mentor]
  • Kengor noted that if Colors and Garza knew that Marx was a racist that maybe they would not be so proud of claiming to follow Marx
  • He went into the things that BLM scrubbed from their website after some focused on those things: abolition of the family; private property [except for Patrice and her homes, of course]; personal inheritance…
  • Prof. Kengor wrote an article on what BLM removed from the “about” section of their site, linked below: BLM’s (Reverse) Marxist Makeover, at The American Spectator

Faust is a tragic play in two parts by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, usually known in English as Faust, Part One and Faust, Part Two. Nearly all of Part One and the majority of Part Two are written in rhymed verse. Although rarely staged in its entirety, it is the play with the largest audience numbers on German-language stages. Faust is considered by many to be Goethe’s magnum opus and the greatest work of German literature.

Faust, Part One

Faust I, first edition, 1808

Main article: Faust, Part One

The principal characters of Faust Part One include:

  • Heinrich Faust (see also Faust), a scholar, sometimes said to be based on Johann Georg Faust, or on Jacob Bidermann‘s dramatized account of the Legend of the Doctor of ParisCenodoxus
  • Mephistopheles, the Devil
  • Gretchen, Faust’s love (short for Margarete; Goethe uses both forms)
  • Marthe Schwerdtlein, Gretchen’s neighbour
  • Valentin, Gretchen’s brother
  • Wagner, Faust’s attendant

***Christian Nationalism – The Source of this Concept: [the post shows how the concept “Christian Nationalism” could not even be an issue except that this nation is a stronghold of Cultural Marxism; and CM has redefined the family and lots of other aspects of society that any Baby Boomer believes is within the realm of normal. That is, their criteria is absurd, reading it, you will likely agree. Yet leftist organizations go by that absurd criteria to call Christians Xenophobes….]
