Rep. Harriet Hageman – Anti-Woke Caucus – The Daily Signal

The 7-minute video of this post is a piece of the puzzle that will help you make better sense of the aims of the Trump agenda.

A lot of people, who are resisting many aspects of President Trump’s agenda, are on the news daily. The following video provides additional information for those who are trying to get a full picture of Trump’s goals for America:

If you are a person that wants the doctor diagnosing and treating you to be of the highest competence; the pilot flying the plane in which you are a passenger to be fully capable; the lockeroom in which your daughter is showering after gym class to be free of boys… then this little video should offer you some information and comfort.

A group of lawmakers are working to uncover the radical leftist agenda that made its way into nearly every corner of the federal government under the Biden administration.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion programs were embraced under the previous administration, but the Anti-Woke Caucus is exposing how these “insidious theories have infiltrated so much of our government so that we can start pulling them out,” Rep. Harriet Hageman told The Daily Signal at the Conservative Political Action Conference just outside Washington, D.C. in Oxon Hill, Md., on Saturday.

Hageman chairs the Anti-Woke Caucus, a group she says is targeting the “social justice type nonsense” in America’s schools, medical system, and beyond. “I’m very excited to be working with the president of the United States and his administration to pursue a policy that gets back to our constitutional foundation, which is equality, which is about a colorblind society, which is that everybody in this country has an opportunity, being the land of opportunity,” Hageman said.

In the same way the Department of Government Efficiency under Elon Musk is working to root out waste in the federal government, the Anti-Woke Caucus is uncovering the radical left’s agenda with the government and society.

The Anti-Woke Caucus was founded in 2023 under the leadership of then Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana before Hageman took over the leadership rains of the body in 2025. Hageman is also working to restore the U.S. government to be that which the founders intended through her leadership of the Article One Task Force, which operates under the Republican Study Committee.

The Article One Task Force, according to Hageman, is focused on “reclaiming the authority of the legislative branch,” Hageman said.

Article One of the Constitution is dedicated to explaining the role and powers of the Legislative branch, but over the past 60 or 70 years, Hageman the powers of the Executive branch have expanded and began “taking over much of the of the legislating that goes on in this country through rulemaking.”

Law making power is intended to flow only through the House and Senate, and through the work of the Article One Task Force, Hageman is working to return the federal government to that standard laid out by the founders in the Constitution.

Returning the power of lawmaking solely to the U.S. Legislature also requires Congress to write laws in a way that are specific and don’t leave room for creative interpretation, as has often been the case, according to Hageman.
