This post contains Mike Gendron’s Newsletter for March 2025. Mike was a practicing Roman Catholic for 37 years before he was born again. Thereafter, he and his wife started the ministry, Proclaiming the Gospel. It is dedicated to helping Roman Catholics see that their faith is not in line with the Bible.
The following two links from this blog are testimonies from Mike and another man who also discovered the truth of the Bible and left the RCC.

At the end of Mike’s Newsletter, there is a brief on the Pope’s stance against immigration; Bishop Strickland responded to the Pope in the following brief post (which Mike Gendron linked, I copied it from Strickland’s site).
Letter in Response to Pope Francis’s Letter to U.S. Bishops
Catholic doctrine upholds the dignity of every human being, including migrants, but it also unequivocally opposes abortion and the redefinition of marriage and gender. When Pope Francis chooses to intervene forcefully on matters of prudential judgment (such as immigration enforcement), but he fails to take a firm stance against a leader who openly promoted grave moral evils contrary to natural and divine law (such as President Biden’s abortion policies), it demonstrates what appears to be a selective and politically motivated concern rather than being doctrinally consistent.

Why Did Jesus Have to Die? |
Most will say, “Because He loved us.” It is true, that was His motivation for dying, but that answer does not explain why He had to die. Some will say “He died to forgive us.” But why did He have to die to forgive us? It is because the wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23). The soul who sins will die, which results in separation from God (Ezekiel 18:4; Isaiah 59:2). The Lord Jesus had to die to satisfy divine justice so that sinners could be reconciled to God. How Can Sinners Escape Divine Justice? Divine justice is a central theme in the Bible because it reflects God’s holy and righteous character and His commitment to uphold moral order. Justice is a foundational characteristic of God’s relationship with humanity. His punishment of sin is necessary for justice to be upheld according to His perfect and righteous standards. Everyone needs to know that they are accountable to their Creator, who requires us to be perfect as He is perfect (Mat. 5:48). Since this is impossible, our only hope is to trust the crucified Savior, who died as a substitute for sinners to satisfy divine justice (Isaiah 53:4-11). His resurrection assures us that divine justice was satisfied (Rom. 4:25). There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Rom. 8:1). His righteousness has been given as a gift to all who believe (Rom. 5:16-18). Divine Justice Must Be Satisfied Divine justice must be satisfied because our holy and righteous judge in heaven must punish every sin that has been committed by everyone who has ever lived. We know that any judge who pardons law-breakers and lets the guilty go free is not a righteous judge. But God, in His profound wisdom, provided one specific way to pardon sinners that would not violate His righteous and holy attributes. In His love and mercy, He graciously provided a sinless substitute to die in the place of sinners to satisfy divine justice. The same God whose justice demands satisfaction for our sin made satisfaction by offering Himself for those who trust Him. The world needs to know that divine justice for sin must be satisfied and there is only one way to escape it. How Can God Be Just and Justify the Unjust? Jesus was born to die. “The Son of Man came…to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45). This was to demonstrate His righteousness so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus (Rom. 3:26). Since all have sinned and broken God’s laws, divine justice had to be satisfied by Christ before forgiveness could be applied to sinners. By dying as a substitute for sinners, the Lord Jesus paid the eternal debt for sin and satisfied all the demands of divine justice so that He could extend mercy and grace to those who trust Him. Man can never DO what Christ has Done. He died “once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit” (1 Pet. 3:18). Divine Justice at the Great White Throne Those who reject the Lord Jesus as their substitute will come face to face with Him at the Great White Throne judgment (Rev. 20:11-15). Since they did not trust Him as a gracious and loving Savior, He will be their holy and righteous judge. Divine justice will be dispensed in the eternal fires of hell. The punishment and separation from God will be everlasting because every sin is committed against an infinitely holy and majestic God. There will be no escape because God is “a consuming fire” (Heb. 12:29). Anyone who rejects God’s only provision for their sin is foolishly choosing to suffer God’s eternal wrath. Christ Made Us His Ambassadors As new creatures in Christ, our Lord has given us the awesome responsibility to be ministers of reconciliation. He has also given us the royal privilege of being His ambassadors so that God can make His appeal to lost sinners through us. Since we know what awaits those who die without Christ, we must beg people on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God. Let us proclaim the greatest news anyone will ever hear: God “made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Cor 5:21). After we proclaim the Gospel verbally, let us also leave it in written form with Gospel tracts. |

Letters to Equip and Encourage the Saints |
Mr. Gendron, You are an evil man who spreads hate. “Love one another as I have loved you.” Does this ring a bell? Your toxic posts are only for those with minds that hate. Your lack of compassion and empathy will not serve you well. You are the one who is blind, my friend. A man of God would not attack any of His children, and we are all God’s children. J.B., Internet J.B., It is not love if I fail to warn someone who is in imminent danger. Loving people means telling them the truth. We must follow the apostle Paul’s example, who warned the Ephesian leaders of false teachers. He wrote: “Be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears” (Acts 20:31). You wrote, “We are all children of God”, yet God’s Word corrects you. “It is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother” (1 John 3:10). To apostate religious leaders Jesus said, “You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires” (John 8:44). The only way to become a child of God is to be born of God by receiving Jesus Christ through faith apart from anything you or anyone else does (John 1:12-13). Sir, You are wrong! Catholic teaching does NOT deny the literal meaning of eternal life. Where do you get such pish posh? Your belief that God saves people forever is unbiblical and an invented tradition of post 16th century man. You can quote all the entire Bible if you want. If I am wrong show me. J.K., Internet J.K., The apostle John wrote his first epistle to believers to give them the assurance of eternal life (1 John 5:13). Please believe the inspired Word of God and not the teachings and traditions of your religion, which holds you in bondage. The Bible reveals that eternal, everlasting life with the Savior begins when one is born again with an inheritance that is kept by the power of God (1 Pet. 1:3-5). Born-again Christians can rejoice with confidence knowing that God’s gift of eternal life is secured by His promises (John 6:37), the perpetual intercession of Jesus (Heb. 7:25), the proof of His unconditional love (Rom. 8:35), the protection of the Good Shepherd (John 10:27-30), and the irrevocable nature of divine gifts (Rom. 11:29). May God give you eyes to see the glory of Christ and His Gospel. I was born in Poland and the Catholic religion is all that I know. Our merciful God has opened my eyes and something in me is calling me to find the true faith that I have missed all my life. I was watching Allie Beth Stuckey interviewing you which is how I came across your name. Now, I feel like I can’t be a Catholic anymore. But I just don’t know what kind of church I should go to. I’m afraid to be deceived again. I would appreciate if you could give me some advice. Thank you for your time and May God Bless you for teaching the truth about God and Jesus Christ. A.K., Benicia, CA Mike, As an exCatholic, I listened to your broadcast on Crosstalk about a new pope and found it extremely interesting. You said, the Bible was put on a list of forbidden books at the Council of Trent. In my 12 years of Catholic education, not ONCE were we ever asked to bring a Bible to any classes on religion, nor did we ever once refer to the Bible in class. D.D., Boothwyn, PA Dear Mike, It is always refreshing to hear the messages that God gives you from His Word, and His clarion warnings to seek Him continually and to pray for those held in the snare of the enemy. I was awestruck at the passage you referred to in Romans 10:2-3, whereby Christ’s righteousness is our only passport to heaven. Every dead religion deceives people into establishing their own righteousness. There is such urgency in your messages and I know that you are coming under a lot of enemy fire. There are some within the church who know the truth but remain silent. I pray that God will continue to expose the evil deeds of darkness through your message, and shine the glory of the Gospel and the hope we have in Christ. D.R., Ada, OK |

Spurgeon’s Clarion Voice on Catholicism |
Where are the voices today that are bold and courageous enough to warn the world about the fatal errors of Roman Catholicism? Charles Haddon Spurgeon, known as the “Prince of Preachers” in the 19th century, knew the apostate religion very well and held nothing back in describing its wickedness. He said, “We abominate that most degrading and sickening of all idolatries, in which a priest makes a god out of flour and water, and bakes this god in an oven. Then the devout Catholic bows down before it, and then swallows it, thus sending his god into his belly! Is not this the most despicable form of superstition that ever debased the intellect of man. The fetish worship of the savage is not more groveling! O that Christians would turn away from such nonsensical idolatry, and execrate everything associated with it!” Spurgeon called people to denounce Catholicism because “her errors are so glaring, her idolatry is so flagrant, and her influence is so ruinous to men’s souls.” |

Pope Defies President Trump and VP Vance |
Pope Francis expressed strong criticism of the Trump administration’s deportation policies and challenged VP J.D. Vance’s theological justification for these actions. Yet, he remained silent during President Biden’s clear and repeated advocacy for abortion, gender ideology and other policies that directly and egregiously contradict Catholic teaching. When Pope Francis chooses to intervene forcefully on immigration enforcement, yet fails to take a firm stance against Biden who promoted grave moral evils such as abortion, it demonstrates a selective and politically motivated concern rather than being doctrinally consistent. Note: The above comments are from a response by Bishop Joseph Strickland to the actions of Pope Francis. U.S. Border czar Tom Homan voiced his disagreement with Pope Francis over border policy after the pontiff claimed that the Trump administration’s agenda of deporting illegal aliens is a “disgrace.” Homan, who is a lifelong Catholic, said that the pope’s attack on us for securing our border was hypocritical because Vatican City has a wall and security measures to protect itself from unknown entrants.
